Reliable description, upgraded my old Dell XPS-410 with minimal fuss - allowing me to shift to a 64-bit OS - doubled the memory and decreased run time by increasing swapping page size - very pleased on all counts. Shipping, packaging, and cost all solid pluses.

Installed the memory on the day it was received. No issues with install, and it was fairly intuitive and there was no setup to do. Easier than i thought it'd be. I think for the price, it's good. Not sure i'd be able to tell the difference between this new 8GB set and a more expensive 8GB chip set. This seems to be just fine.

I only use this old computer for installing VMs to test out things. Some of the Operating System VMs require at certain amounts of memory and this computer maxes out at 8GB, so this was a no-brainer. The RAM was cheap and it works, simple as that.

The computer I put this in had 3 sticks of mismatched 1gb ram for a total of 3gb of ram. It felt bad. It worked. But, I hated using this computer. I took all 3 sticks out and put 4x2gb into this computer and it's like a brand new computer. I'm a computer nut. I know 8gb isn't an astonishing amount of ram in 2020. But, 1st that's the max this motherboard can take... and 2nd, it has a specific set of tasks that I knew it would be able to handle better at 8gb. I also paired it with an SSD at the same time and wow this thing shines like it's brand new off the shelf. Mostly because the this ram arrived and I had all working sticks just as planned. I saw the listing and what arrived is exactly what I wanted.

I remember when I built this pc in 2007. This much ram would have cost me an an arm and a leg. It is really affordable now. I popped it in my old machine and it is now usable. It works well, and the machine runs much faster.

This memory worked outstanding in speeding up my computer. Replacing the original memory with this memory and the replacing the chip; worked wonders on the speed of this older computer. I have more than one. I used my same air cooler for the chip. The memory works great.

Upgraded an older PC that was experiencing intermittent "blue screens". I suspected memory, either too little or HW issue. No problems since I installed this memory and the PC is working great.

Memory arrived on schedule and was just as described. Popped old memory out and stuck in new and pc posted without errors and loaded windows 10. Just wish I had done more research because window 10 32 bit can't use all 8 gig I ordered. My bad could have saved a few dollars but still a good deal considering what memory cost when this machine was new. Would buy again.
