This is an incredibly sturdy little grill. It took me seconds to set it up and the fact that the base clicks onto the legs is a huge plus for me, especially since I will be using this with older children. Tipping over would be not good, so having the stability matters. The adjustable height is genius, and will come in handy, and I also really like that the whole grill top and body are stainless steel. Ihave not yet used this little guy but as soon as it is warmer I’ll have it out for smores, hot dogs, or heating water on outings. It will be perfect for an all day hike and if you don’t mind the 3 lbs. I bet it would be awesome for backpacking. We aren’t tailgateing people but I bet this would be awesome for that. It’s small, but I’m really impressed with the quality, AND the carying case is so nice to have. I’m so excited to get out and use this! One draw back I can see is that it could be too small for more than a few people. If your outing is planned for many, you may want the larger size, or bring along 2 or 3 of these minis. Overall though I’m impressed!

I'm super impressed with this little grill. I purchased the mini size for backpacking and hiking trips and this grill does not disappoint! The material and construction is really top notch quality. The medal is not a thin, tin feeling medal. The grill is nice 18-guage medal (guessing) and feels surprisingly sturdy and substantial for its size. The stand latches to the base tray making it a very stable grill once assembled. It collapses down to a very manageable travel size and comes with a decent bag for storage and transport.Overall I'm impressed and would definitely recommend this as a nice backpacking grill and stove. I'm excited to grill some freshly caught trout on this baby!

A masterwork in design.I am able to reduce my cooking pans to two. With just a wok and a griddle (pictured), I can cook pretty much anything: succulent chicken, chops, or steaks on the grill; stirfry, pan-frying, and steaming, by adding my flat-bottom wok; bacon, French toast, hashbrowns on my round griddle. But the real virtue of this compact cooker is the consistent heat it puts out. You can easily adjust the cooking surface for the best temperature for method of cooking: super hot for work, med-hot for frying, med, etc for veggies or warming or toasting. The charcoal bed itself can easily be adjusted (wooden stick not supplied) for super-fine fire tuning.The cooking unit is free to move about the larger ash pan/heat shield, which makes using two cookers together much easier. The angled sides of the fire bed reflect heat up and out so the entire cooking area is heated well. The larger of the two sizes (small and mini) when added to another, form a very substantial cooking area. This is far superior to a single, bigger unit as each single can be carried in each hand versus struggling with the weight and size of a full-size grill of the same quality.My routine: with the grill removed, a few strips of paper torn from the charcoal bag are wadded up and placed on the charcoal grate. Charcoal is added up to the top edge of the cooker and the paper is ignited. Leave it alone or blow on the ember to speed-up the process. Add grill or cooking implement when the desired temp is achieved (about10 to 15 min). Enjoy the hot, even fire of wood charcoal.On a three-day outing, I took no gas fuel except the tiny jetboil can for super fast hot water for coffee.If one wanted, hot water for dishes could be heating on the remaining coals while the meal is enjoyed.One or two times and you will become an expert camp chef. It is easy when your fire source is this good.I am truly impressed and I've been camping for 55 years.Purchase with confidence

I received this BBQ quickly and it was packaged very safely and securely. It was super easy and fast to set up. And by quickly I mean that it went together in about 30 seconds.I’ve been in the market for a BBQ for quite some time, and I’m so fortunate to have found this product. What a robust and well-manufactured grill this is! I was delighted by both the high-quality metal and design of this BBQ. This isn’t a “use for one summer” product, but a BBQ I know I will truly have for the rest of my life. It also looks really cool; it’s a nice grill you can display proudly in your yard!The design of the BBQ was obviously very well thought out to be both easy to set up and convenient to store very compactly. Although I have a backyard where I can grill, this would also be perfect for those looking to grill on an apartment balcony or any other limited-space location as well. The way that the base snaps into place not only allows for the fast setup but also feels secure and creates a perfect funnel for loose coals to filter out onto the metal plate underneath. Another awesome feature is that you can adjust the height from the grill surface to the flame to truly customize the heat and way in which you are cooking various foods.The surface area of the grill was impressive for such a compact unit. My first time using the BBQ I cooked just two medium size chicken breasts although it could hold about four time mores than that. The grill surface was easy to clean afterward and I was able to hose down the entire unit, dry it and place it right back in the sturdy tote bag, ready for it’s next backyard or outback adventure.I’m excited to put this little grill to the test. While small in size, this grill can still accommodate larger crowds. The possibilities for cooking that this bad boy opens up are huge and unlimited!

Being a solo camper I really like the size of this mini grill. I was so excited to get it I immediately set it up and cooked a burger. However, after letting the charcoal burn down and cleaning up I noticed the ash plate, which was black upon new, was now the silver metal with small remnants of the BLACK PAINT remaining. What poison did I just cook into my food? Otherwise this product is great for my needs. Why oh why would they paint the plate black for it to burn off into your food?

Das Grill hat eine tolle Verarbeitung, ist stabil und sieht gut aus. Leider ist es viel zu klein, da passt nicht mal eine Wurst drauf. Es ging zurück. Die nächsten Größe ist dann viel zu teuer.

ist stabil , schnell zusammengebaut , die Tasche zum verstauen finde ich auch gut, passt so mit in jeden Rücksack wenn es in die natur geht
