VERY PLEASED WITH PURCHASE !
VERY PLEASED WITH PURCHASE !But there was an issue with packaging: the two bolts and two wing-nuts (and "foot-bar") were simply flopping about inside the cardboard box. The cardboard box had multiple holes the size of hands (which were likely made by handlers in order to lift the box - NO ISSUE THERE AT ALL.) But the loose bolts and wing-nuts could have easily fallen-out-of the hand-holes; Fortunately, that they did not.I bought the FULL size bed frame and it has multiple elevation levels (about ten.) But both sides rise exactly the same so don't expect to raise just one side of the bed. (Look at the photos - they show exactly how there are three support elevation-arms and also that the two sides of the frame are "permanently joined together.") NOTE: You MUST go all-the-way to MAX elevation in order to be able to return to flat. There is a small spring-loaded button on each (of the three) elevation-arm which you can depress in order to get it "back to flat" but that requires three separate hands working together simultaneously to depress the small spring-loaded buttons and a separate (fourth) hand to lower the frame; This procedure can result in pinched fingers and hands as the frame "goes to flat." (But i notice also that "this exact same product" is now offered for more than three times the $79.00 price i paid so maybe there is a newer design which allows separate sides to elevate separately. IRDK)As to the difficulty of raising/lowering the bed - do not expect a ten-year-old or a very small-bodied adult to be able to accomplish this by themselves.; But any healthy full-sized adult should have no issues with this procedure. But do NOT expect to "go back to flat" to sleep at night; It requires a significant amount of energy to lift the mattress-and-bed-frame combo to the highest elevation in order to get back-to-flat again; Raising it to the highest level is definitely aerobic exercise that will wake-up a person's body, not put a person into sleepy-mode. Bottom line - if you think you will be adjusting this bed's elevation constantly, i believe you will find that to be NOT true; However, i have found that a slight elevation all the time (about two-to-three detentes above "flat") works fine for me.And as to the comments that the elevation arms bend easily, i find that to be amazing. The three elevation arms on my model are incredibly sturdy. Even if i were "involved in gymnastics in bed" i would think the elevation arms would resist bending. (Again - i cannot affirm that there are not multiple different "elevation arms" used in the construction of this bed frame and that maybe i got "super-strength" elevation arms. Additionally, i weight 150lbs so a significantly heavier person might experience different results. But i would expect that my model would resist the entire 2,000lb that the paperwork says it would. (YES- the paperwork say 2,000lb.) To wit: "Steel frame can support 2,000 lbs. (Twin, TXL, Full.)" Also - it is my personal opinion that "gymnastics" should be performed with elevation set to flat, so i cannot EVER see my having an issue with bent elevation arms. (Children - reset the bed to flat prior to practicing trampoline jumping, m-k?) But YMMV !Oh - and one thing incorrect with the "manufacturer's photos" on this site (true as of the date of my posting) is that the photo (ref attached to review) shows two "foot-bars" that are supposed to keep a mattress from slipping off the foot of the bed while elevated. (I made up the word "foot-bar.") There is but one foot-bar for the FULL SIZE model (very likely two on wider models.) I do feel that one foot-bar is sufficient for full-size frames; But perhaps for higher-elevated-positions and for wider than full-size maybe two are required.Additionally, with regard to the advertised details:Platform steel bed frame with manually adjustable top section14 Inch of under bed storage spaceSteel frame can support 2,000 lbs. (Twin, TXL, Full) and 4,000 lbs. (Queen) of evenly distributed weightNo tools required; set up or dissemble in minutesre: 14 Inch of under bed storage space I measured from 13inches to 13 5/16ths at various places underbed (in case you are planning on sticking "storage boxes underneath;" Do allow a few sixteenths "of play" / "of error" for your own safety; "Cushy carpeting" will reduce this measurement, of course.) And i admit that the manufacturer might have changed leg-length from the 14inches promised to the 13inches i received.re: No tools required; set up or dissemble in minutes. I found this exactly true. However, i did grab a pair of pliers to snug up the two wing-nuts a bit and for assistance with loosening, then tightening the other wing-nuts that come attached to the various pivot points. (It is simple, but you do need to loosen the wing-nuts, swing the pivot-arms into place, then tighten the wing nuts over the pivot-arms to keep the bed from collapsing in use.)Otherwise, all was good and i am very, very happy with this purchase.

would not recommend this bed frame to a friend
The assembly was difficult as the bolt holes do not line up.There are no instructions on how to raise and lower the adjustable part of the bed. The raised section did come down once, waking me with start. would not recommend this bed frame to a friend.

Flimsy headboard and mechanism. AVOID.
This unyielding, all-metal bed frame provides a solid and level platform at a comfortable height and, because it does not use springs of any kind, it does not squeal or squeak when you move around on it. Well-constructed, heavy gauge materials with stable legs and overall smooth black finish it should prove durable. DO NOT try to raise the headboard while you are lying in the bed. This can cause the metal bars on both sides of the headboard to become slightly bent, putting a hump in the headboard which will not stay flat until you bend it back flat and even again. (learned from experience.) HOWEVER, there is a major design flaw with this, more expensive, version of this bed frame that features the adjustable head. Unless you have another person with you to lower the head, forget about it. This a two-person job because of the crappy design of the mechanism that holds the head of the frame up in position on both sides. The hardware on both sides of the bed frame has to be simultaneously manipulated by two people in order to lower the head of the bed. It can be a hell of a time-consuming struggle to lower if one person tries to do this alone. The locking mechanism needs to be better designed to allow for one person to maneuver this headboard feature with ease. UPDATED NOTE: HEADBOARD METAL AGAIN DEVELOPED A BEND AND A TWIST IN THE FRAME AND ADJUSTING HARDWARE UNDER NORMAL USE. NOT DURABLE ENOUGH TO LAST. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET THE NON-ADJUSTABLE VERSION INSTEAD.

Good frame for a good price
Worked great for my daughters new memory mattress. Very sturdy so far and very easy to install. I love the adjust ability although she hasn't used it as much as we thought because you basically need 2 people to lift it into position. She has a double size bed so it's too wide to do herself.

Defective, then lost in transit, still waiting for 3rd frame
The product arrived quickly, but the adjustable end of the frame was defective. They offered to send me a replacement, but it was "lost in transit", and they are no longer carrying that particular bed frame. Today makes 6 weeks since I received the original bed frame, and I'm still waiting on the replacement, which is a stationary bed frame. If you do get one of the adjustable frames, realize that you cannot attach a headboard to it, and the two brackets at the foot of the bed to keep the mattress from slipping off the frame also keep a bed skirt from fitting properly. I hope I'll be happy when I receive the replacement frame.

Very good quality, great value
I bought this bed frame for my elderly mother. She has bad arthritis and needed a bed that she can sit up in. This bed frame fit the bill. It is well made. Assembly was very easy and took less than 5 minutes. Several other reviewers have stated it is hard to adjust. That is partially true. Raising the bed is easily done by one person. Lowering it, however does require 2 people because of the weight of the mattress. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, especially for the price.

Helps alleviate chronic pain
This has been perfect for me ad I needed an elevated bed to help relief chronic pain. I rarely adjust the height of the bed so how the bed is adjusted is not an issue. I have the queen size and it takes two people in order to adjust it with the handle on each side of the bed. With two people adjusting it, it only takes a few seconds. I was also concerned as to how well the mattress would stay on the frame. There is a handle type thing at the foot of the frame that holds the mattress in place, and it works great. I haven't had any issues with the mattress sliding around.
