Not just press the red button, but also pull out in horizontal direction while holding the red button. I have attached a video to show it.-weight is a litte heavy for my girl to carry up staris-only one color to choose. My girl would like to have pink one.But still highly recommend.

My son is so excited with his first scooter.His favorite part is how the wheels light up. It rides smoothly and sturdy. Also loved the way they are designed and the bright color.Also, the right way to unfold the scooter is quite easy. Just follow the direction of the red arrow to pull out the bar while pressing the red button. Check the picture I uploaded with highlighted step 2 in pull out action for easy understanding.Updated on 2/26/19 Don’t miss a free helmet for your kid. I found a small card attached on my package. It says I can get a free helmet. I followed the instructions and I do received an awesome helmet. It feels comfortable and in good construction. See what I got in pictures. Happy with this fantastic free gift.

I bought this for my just turned 3 year old granddaughter and was hoping the lean to turn would help her with coordination and future bike riding. It took about 2 minutes to put together and adjust the handle to the right level. She loves it!! And she tool off down the sidewalk and was tickled when she saw the wheels light up. I love that it is colorful but frankly when I put it in my cart, I didn't realize it had bright yellow skulls all over it. She's not a pink girl and can be sometimes tomboyish (she has an older brother) so she thought the colors and skulls were cool. If you have a girly-girl, this might not be the color for her. Otherwise, it is a great scooter and I highly recommend it.

Handle bar is all plastic (T-section). We have two other scooters with metal handle bars (see second picture).My son is only 7 years old, the handle broke while riding it. He was wearing pads and helmet so he had minor bruises from the handle bar separating and him falling off it. Would recommend a recall. Amazon please contact me.

A plastic part in the steering mechanism was broken and caused the wheel to rub when making a turn. My son made a turn and fell off because of the steering/wheel issue. This scooter is junky. I don't recommend it. It looks cool but it is NOT well made. I only give it 2 starts because of the artwork.

This scooter is so cool! This was purchased as a gift for our soon to be 7 year old. He has ASD, SPD, ADHD, and developmental delay. He gets to ride a 3 wheeled scooter in therapy. We thought he would love this especially the lights. We were right!! He was so excited to receive this and upon taking it outside he had a great time going back and forth watching the wheels light up. This will last him quite awhile as he is small for 7 and this adjusts to many heights. Now our soon to be 3 year old wants one too! The design is very cool as well.

Our little 2 and a half year Great Grandson hasn't quite got the hang of it just yet. Very sturdy. The handle lift is a little tricky...read the directions TWICE....then raise the handle bars....

My son got this for his 7th Birthday and he loves it! The best part is the light up wheels is so colorful and it stands out from other scooters.
