A little too large for AKG C3000 ... BUT ... this might have been a good thing, as it gave me an opportunity to insert a layer of black closed-cell foam rubber isolating the mic even better. It then closed tightly enough that I could even use the mic inverted if I wanted. For the price, this is the best shock mount I've found. Too many others are made too cheaply (LyxPro seems well made) and are awkward to work with.

Does not fit large condenser Mics
i purchased this to replace the one that came with my MXL 770, but i had to take the inner mount of my previous one and use that in this because this one was too small, but other than that, this thing is great, should have gotten the other one with the threaded mount instead and see if that would workPros: its cheap for what it isCons: no specific specs cant tell what sizes it can handle and does not come with an adapter for those scissor arm mounts

Poorly designed
Fell apart when I took it out of the box.. poorly designed, the holder for the mic is held in place by a very loosely placed hair tie style band. It fell apart when I took it out of the box and would not go back together.

The mount itself is very small doesn't fit many mics ...
The mount itself is very small doesn't fit many mics with some wiggling I finally got mine in. Once the elastic bands come off its one heck of a task to get them back on. It does its job for something this cheap wish they could fix the middle part a bit more.

My microphone won't fit in
It's good that it has a pop filter integrated but my microphone won't fit in. I have to force it to make it work. It's supposed to be universal. Could be better.

Heavy, not much mobility
Doesn't have much mobility and if the elastics fall off its really hard to get them back on..... really hard, it's also fairly heavy so you'll need a good mic stand
