By Malcolm Gladwell - The Tipping Point (1905-07-09) [Paperback]

The book I ordered arrived today.Not only was the condition “Like New” as advertised, but it was packed to keep it that way.The book itself was shrink wrapped, then put on top of a slightly larger piece of cardboard and then shrink wrapped again and placed in a stiff mailing envelope. The red outside label told handlers it was a book and not to bend it.Not many people take this amount of care and I was also happy to support an independent operator.I really appreciated the care and packaging and I wish more people were aware of it.David Y,Las Vegas

I now know which of Gladwell's book to choose and read first.As a trainer and a life coach, people come to me with various problems.Most of the problem solving lies with the understanding of human thinking methods, concepts of social change and individual transformations.This book provides wonderful essences of the various books of Malcolm Gladwell including, The tipping point and The blink.What makes this lessons learned series interesting is that these books are- well written- clear- not at all confusing- to the point and- recommendable.Good....

I absolutely LOVED reading this book! The Tipping Point offered insight to how/why various factors in situations lead to the exact point of change.

What makes fads????? Great for serious sociologists and communications academicians, as well as for guys who just want some memorable stories (e.g. teenage suicide epidemics) to impress their friends and colleagues. If you're in a hurry, read the last chapter first.

I heard about Malcolm Gladwell at a talk on sustainable cities. After reading this short biography with Malcolm's ideas I have been encouraged to think that we may reach a tipping point to reduce carbon emissions and keep global warming from running totally out of control. I also learned how I can be more effective in helping to make people "do something" about this most important issue of our century. This is a wonderful introduction to Malcolm's ideas and I will certainly be reading all his books

Mr. Gladwell is one of if not the best analytic journalist I have encountered so far. I keep his books to read again, & then I give them away, & have to buy more. I`m looking forward to his next work that will be released in Sept.

The book gave a lot of insight

I bought this book thinking it was written by Malcolm Gladwell. My mistake. I persevered through the thankfully extremely short book only to find a poorly written reproduction of what one could find on the internet about Gladwell. The book was peppered with typos and spelling errors and poor grammar. I wasted my money and my time.
