Very pretty item, however, the glass lens was foggy and the handheld piece would come unsecured if not careful while holding, overwise, I would have loved it!

This magnifying glass is beautiful as well as functional. I have many and this is my favorite by far.

First one arrived without the bottom nut so entire thing came apart. Second one was fine. Works good- good magnification. Be sure the bottom nut is on very tight as that is what holds the entire thing together. Pretty wood. I am pleased with the replacement I was sent and use it often.

I bought this for a gift and the recipient was very impressed. Real glass, real wood, real metal! I've had several of the plastic magnifiers that get scratched up quickly and are ruined. With a little care this should really last.

I erroneously assumed this would be a smallish magnifying glass. I was so wrong - it’s large and comfortable to hold, and the glass is flawless. It’s perfect for helping me see tiny details when I’m doing my art. I love it! It’s also beautiful and makes a pleasing desk item when it’s not being used.

Unlike so many magnifiers, this is a classic style that looks elegant on a desktop, and it magnifies.

It says wooden handle in the title not wood effect -which it really is. Yes if I had looked further down in the blurb it says made of bone but I didn't read that.So nice magnifying glass BUT disappointed not real wood.

Unfortunately despite the many warnings about the false claim of 10X magnification I still went ahead and purchased this item. It has only 2-3X magnification but it is well made.
