Works perfectly 90% of the time
This is a good value and decent quality vacuum sealer - although it isn’t perfect all the time...every now and then the seal on a bag breaks which is VERY annoying when the bag is in a water bath...less so if the food is in the freezer and is random when it happens.Very easy to use, slimline and sleek and with only a couple of buttons hard to get confused with. The cutter is useful the first time one uses it, but a pain thereafter.Overall a very good device for a first foray into vacuum sealers, and if you’re not using it regularly to cook food in a water bath it’ll do the job well

Sealer
Bought this in July and am only using it now. Only to find out it doesn’t vacuum and seal . Unfortunately I have passed the return date.xDisappointed .......Up date .... contacted supplier, very helpful, and will replace Sealer as soon as stocks arrive in ..... hopefully this one is 100% ... other wise full refund will be asked for ......They have replaced my sealer, at no cost to me , and am pleased to say it is working . Thank you .

You need one of these in your kitchen.
My wife wanted one of these to save the food left over in a pack as it is only the two of us and most packs are made for families. We initially bought it to save space in the freezer, but have found ourselves using it in the chilled side as well.My daughter was visiting from Sweden and wanted to take pickled onions back for her husband. Worried about a glass jar and the weight we drained the onions and double sealed the bag. Job done and arrived safely. When putting liquids or foodstuff with liquid in it can be fiddly setting the bag into the machine and lid is quite tight to lock [this is normal] any liquid or dampness in the seal area and the bag will not seal correctly. Also make sure liquids do not get into the vacuum area.Other than that I would highly recommend it.

Very poor quality
Had an Andrew James one. Used it constantly. When it gave up the ghost I found it was out of stock so I got this one (Aobasi). It was difficult to use and from the get go. Lousy vacuum function. Too much air left in the bags and after a small amount of usage I had to vacuum, then turn the vacuum off and press the seal button (instead of it automatically doing that). Now, after two years and not very much use due to it being so difficult to use, it has completely stopped working. Can still heat seal but vacuum function not working at all. The Andrew James one is back in stock. After using it once I realised how good it is compared with the Aobasi. Don't buy this product! You will be very disappointed.

Watch the Youtube videos to see how this works
It does not come with the clearest of instructions but once you work out what to do it is fairly simple to use. The build quality is not great but not too awful especially at its new price of £29.99 and not £39.99.

Not to bad at all
I found out that you have to keep the bag with the food in has to be kept dead level or it won't seal. But I finally got it right and does a good job

Good value kit
For the money this packer delivers. I do a lot of home curing and this device really help. Good seal, enough vacuum power. Small clean and easy to use

There is no holder for the role
It is a bit fiddly to work with and I have still problem with the suction power. A bit disappointed that there is no holder for the sealer roll of the bag. The cutter is absolutely unless. I use a pair of scissors instead
