My kids are LOVING this book!! I ordered a few of these for supplemental homeschool work for a variety of ages.. 8 to 14. It is so hard to find engaging books that they all can get into. 8 weeks in and they love the days they have this on their assignment. It's a nice break from the humdrum and it draws out their creativity. I'd completely recommend this one if you're on the fence and I personally plan to order a few more for other children. Two thumbs up.

This book is fun. Even if I never write a story, I get lost in drawing silly doodles and trying to think of things that are good in my life instead of just trauma that sticks as bold memories. This reminds me to think of silly, or unique things - very fun in a pandemic and is a great gift for kids or adults

I bought this for myself, but my 9 year old son usurped it and fell in love. For the first time, he felt confident drawing and even coming up with his own characters. This book is fun and easy to use.

I hadn't realized Nathan Pyle illustrated this book. My son was very excited to receive this book. He likes the "tell your own story" aspect. Simple little cues and drawings for you to fill in and add to.
