Annin Flagmakers U.S. Navy Military Flag USA-Made to Official Specifications, Officially Licensed, 3 x 5 Feet (Model 439030)

My Darling Bride and I, both Navy veterans, strive to buy things that are made in the USA. Especially our U. S. and Navy flags. Why would anyone buy an American flag that's made in China? Price, I guess... but for us, buying American products to support American companies that hire American employees is worth the premium. Usually.I looked at my Navy flag on the pole at our house and saw that it was terribly faded. Good thing I had a spare! I was shocked, however, by how badly it had faded just since I bought it on December 7th. It only lasted a little more than three months!I had hoped to get at least a year of use out of this flag, particularly since Annin seems to emphasize its Nyl-Glo technology. And it does look good... until it doesn't anymore. Which, sadly, won't take long. We'll be looking for another American flag company, I guess...

Very durable flag. Color is very brilliant and appears as though it will last quite a while. I fly this 24/7 (which is not recommended) so it's important that it will last. I am a proud Navy Vet (Retired) and it is flown with great pride. I was concerned about the creases from being folded but another customer said to use the steam function on an iron to remove them. It worked great! I do recommend this for every Navy Vet to be flown with your American flag.

WRONGThe colors are OK.The material is a bit thin but ok.But In what universe is this considered "two sided"?

I purchased this flag a few years ago and kept in the original Box inside my house and decided to display it this year outside. With in 2 months it started to degrade. As you can see in my photo 2 out of the 3 flags I purchased have serious degradation. This flag may be suitable for indoor display but is not of suitable quality for outside use, if you want it to last more than a couple months.

I bought this flag over a year ago and the color has held up excellently. It has also withstood the elements. I will always by my flags from Annin not just because they are made in the USA, but because they are the best quality.

From this purchase forward we will only buy Annin flags. We originally purchased an embroidered double-sided USN flag from another manufacturer, the materials detonated within six-months. Our original Annin USA flag still stands proud, our Annin USN now accompanies old glory.

I sure wish someone would come up with a higher quality flag. I have to replace this Annin flag at least 3 to 4 times per year. Can't take much wind without fraying, it fades quickly.

The lighter (albeit slightly less resilant material) allows it to blow in a light breeze below the US flag of same material. I believe this is made in USA. For flags I try to buy American, just does not fit right with me buying one made in a communist country. I buy plenty from them but draw line on flags.
