Nice examples for a small book & CD.

Very nice to see this different presentation on celtic guitar and the CD is always a great idea. I like how the author gave the string pitches to tune to and then play along with him on the CD if you choose.

I bought this a few years back, already an experienced fingerstyle player, though mainly a rock guitarist. My experience with basic folk, country and Travis techniques helped me prepare for this book, which kicked my butt pretty good. The songs are beautiful and it gave me more insight to the DAGDAD tuning style. It jumps into most of the songs pretty quick, no beginner lessons here, but the time invested was quite worth it.
