If you're a wine lover, you need a Coravin!
These are the charging capsules for the Coravin wine system. I bought a Coravin as a gift for my husband, and it hung around for six months until he decided to try it; now he uses it constantly. The needle of the Coravin pierces the cork, and after you pour the wine, you remove the needle, and the capsule pushes CO2 into the bottle and then seals the cork back up. You can wait weeks or months before having a second glass from the bottle, and it tastes just as fresh as the first drink.

the real deal
the Coravin capsules are the real deal. Even though they might be the most expensive, they are worth it. I have been using a Coravin for over 10 yrs now and always buy the corvine brand argon gas capsules. 3 months ago, I decided to try a cheaper brand-blue flag. these things were garbage! they only lasted maybe 3-4 pours each capsule! what a waste. so at the end of the day-you are not really "saving money". buy the known and trusted brand. it lasts and is perfect every time!

Works great, less filling.
They don't pack as much of a punch as the generic ones, so you're paying for the brand and their invention. It would be better if they are going to force you to buy theirs, at an elevated price, that they at least have the same capacity as the generic ones.

Love my Coravin!
Wife and I love our Coravin system. Now we don't feel pressured to drink the entire bottle if we don't feel like it. Had to clean cork out of the needle but once I did… works great!!
