My immediate reaction was the drill bits looked well made and the individual boxes will provide good protection for the drill bits.I wasn't thrilled that the bits are not marked with the size. It was not difficult to make labels to affix to each bit and I have already done so. Doing it took some time but at least I won't have to measure a bit every time I want to use them. I used a digital micrometer to measure each bit.As far as their performance goes they work great. They are very sharp and I have already used them on three types of wood and bamboo, as well as plastic. The bits cut through everything with ease. I even had to drill some holes on sloped surfaces and if you start slowly the bits will not deflect. I think because they are tungsten carbide they are quite stiff and that helps on angled surfaces. However, I am sure most users know that since they are stiff and being quite small diameters you will have best results if used with a drill press. Drilling by hand can be done but the risks of breaking bits is greaterOverall I am very pleased and hopefully the bits will stay sharp over time.

Excellent for scale models!! These micro drill bits will work in any adjustable chuck hand drill. As some of the bits are oh so easy to break, at this price point it’s worth having extras on hand.

Works well for purpose intended, must be very carefully when drilling, breaks easily.

I am not easily impressed and never thought I'd be excited over micro drill bits, but these are phenomenal. I just returned 2 sets of micro drill that were not as advertised where they just threw in a bunch of a couple sizes yet were sold as a complete set. These are truly a set. I needed to drill a lot of holes under .020 in some N Scale track. My old set was missing the smallest sizes so I needed new. I started with the 3rd smallest in this set (.0185 in) and chucked it in my old floor model drill press. I drilled through 1/8 plywood first before testing it on a section of track. Both came out great. I then moved down to the 2nd smallest (.0150 in) and drilled another section of track. No glitches, no broken bits, just perfect holes as needed. I feel confident I can now complete the task once the temp in my workshop gets above freezing.

These bits are very fragile, I guess that's why they give you a lot of them. I broke 1 bit drilling into a plastic miniature and another bit drilling into a pewter miniature. Its almost impossible to get the bit back out.The main reason I took off 2 stars is the bits appeared to be used already. Some of the plastic cases are more beat up than others. One of them was very brown and dirty. Several of the bits had remnants of plastic or some material on them.Despite them being used they still get the job done, but I suspect many of these have been previously used.

Bits work great!! Nice and strong and don’t snap easily like some others I’ve tried.

I was trying to find a jeweler who could drill new lug holes for my watch because I was changing to a different style of band made by the same company that made the watch but the lug hole locations were different. After hours of research and YouTube searching, I decided to try it myself. I used one of these bits to drill into a stainless steel watch case with a dremel and it worked exactly as I needed it to. I bought this set in case I broke the but trying to drill and I only had to use one bit. You have to go slow and keep the same angle when drilling otherwise you will break them. This worked like a dream and the fact you’re getting 50 bits all together for this price makes it well worth it. At least it was for me.
