Costa Farms Chlorophytum comosum Spider Live Indoor Plant, 10-Inches Tall, Ships in White-Natural Décor Planter

1) it did not come in the basket in the description or the basket in the picture.In cane in a dark wicker style basket that is open air on sides, not solid. (See photo)2) Half of the dirt was out of the planter and all over the inside of the box. Tried to replace as much as I could but I Will have to get more dirt to replace so there is enough in the planter.The plant did come alive, and I can always buy another planter so it looks the way I wanted. But do not expect to receive packed well or the way it is presented in the description.Update: the compony sent the correct basket 2 months later. Updated to 4 stars for making the situation right. But not 5 due to the amount of time.

The plant arrived in excellent shape, but the planter is not at all what was described or pictured in the product information. It is a plastic-lined basket. The plant is potted directly in it, so cannot be removed for watering/drainage. If I had known this would be the planter, I would have ordered the grower's pot and found a different planter that would be better for the plant and my home. I ordered another plant from Costa Farms at the same time (diffenbaccia), and had the same issue.

This spider plant didn't travel as well as others I received from Costa Farms. I worked with one of the growers and he gave me suggestions I followed and it is now a beautiful happy plants.

I am really excited about the plants I purchased from this company! I wanted a bit of greenery in my bathrooms and the air purifying part of this spider plant was really intriguing. The plant arrived well packaged and was easy to unwrap without spilling too much dirt. The plant was thriving, not wilted or brown in any spots. I watered it a bit immediately and will continue to provide regular water as suggested on the insert.The pot it comes in is plastic but it looks nice. Since this is in my bathroom, I didn't want a fancy or terracotta planter as I wouldn't be surprised if a kid knocked this off the counter. I know the planter won't break. Plus, it was nice to not have to replant it in something else. I do think the price is higher than what I would've paid in store. But I am pleased so far. I will update if anything changes with the plant.

When my plant arrived and I opened the box, the plant roots were exposed because it was knocked out of the container. What a mess it was. Other than that the plant is healthy and pretty. The decorative pot is a joke, but I repot all my new plants so that didn't bother me. I would use this company again, plus my plants bought on line are better than purchasing from a flower shop.

Plant had black ends when it arrived (first 2 photos). 1 week and a half later looks worse (second 2 photos) . Im hoping it perks up. I will say the other 3 small plants i received the same day are doing great. Happy with them

I was dubious about ordering plants online. Since my local nurseries have none for sale, I took the plunge and ordered online.The 2 spider plants I ordered arrived two days earlier than the estimated delivery time described. The shipping boxes are very sturdy. I was delighted when I looked in them. Great care and attention was taken to safely wrap the plants for transport. Once unwrapped, I was totally amazed looking at the two wonderful plants.The decorative pots are lovely. No soil was spilled. Every leaf of the plants are healthy. Not one is broken or discolored. Thank you for the great care and professional packaging that you did. I will definitely buy more plants from you in the future.

I ordered based on other reviews, and the photo's that were with some. Mine might have been less of a mess, but the plant was cramed into a box too small for it, damaging lots of the leaves. Also, it was almost out of the pot with roots showing. I had to repot if. Will give it a few weeks to see if it recovers as I know these are usually pretty easy to grow. But way to expensive to arrive in this shape. If anyone knows how to contact the grower please let me know as I would like to let them know. I have another plant ordered, hope it makes the journey.
