Awesome holster, but you might have to LEARN to break-in leather
Great holster, 2 positions, and it makes my Beretta-96G in .40 cal, ride close to my body. I am not a fan of the PLASTIC holsters (I have 1 for a 1911, and 1 for a Sig 226), they are pretty rough on the finish of the guns, wherever the gun CLICKS on a catch. When I first got this leather holster, I was alarmed that the gun did not fit the last 2 inches into the pouch. This is like horse-saddle leather, it is thick. With brute force I was still not able to get close to snapping the retainer over my weapon. I thought that I had not matched something correctly when I ordered this holster - this holster was not even close. Then I did some READING on leather stretching. If your weapon is too tight to clear/present easily, you probably don't want to apply lots of conditioner/lotions to the leather. The holster will make you happier for longer if it is not over-softened. Also, lotions are likely to make your gun less secure in a fairly short amount of time. After much reading, I applied a little bit of WATER to the entire inside area of the gun holster area, not soaking, and let it stay moist for 10 minutes, then I put my weapon in a 1-gallon FREEZER BAG, and holstered it and the tiny layer of plastic baggie. I was immediately able to snap the weapon in the holster. Do not put the holster in the oven, do not hurry the drying process with a fan, let the leather stretch slowly for 24 hours, then un-holster it, and try again without the baggie. Depending on how tight your weapon is to start, you might want to apply very little or even NO water to the inside. The ziplock baggie is apparently a common trick for tight holsters, if you are only a little too tight, leave the gun holstered with no water and it will still stretch every day.Holster is high-quality, although I might try to sew-on some soft Velcro where the snap rubs against my weapon, to protect my gun from the rubbing of me snapping it closed. Highly recommended, buy it. Should last me many years for my part-time carrying, as an option.

Perfect Fit for 92FS
My holster just arrived and I am very impressed so far.My opinions for this holster:1. Leather is in perfect condition. No scuffs, scratches or wear on arrival.2. Its not a bulky holster which makes it easy to conceal should you feel the need too. Some printing might be noticeable. Long enough shirt or coat should cover it because it does not ride low.3. The stitching looks great and it feels very well made.4. Beretta 92FS fits perfect. Gun sits very well and the trigger guard is entirely secured/covered.5. For the 92FS you will not be able to carry it with the hammer down. Maybe with other models.6. 92FS barrel does not stick out past the holster.See attached photos.

Excellent so far for my Beretta 92F clone w/ rail (Girsan Regard 92)
I am the kind of person who frets about the details. One of the details is that my Beretta clone has a rail. Most holsters are not designed for use with a rail. This holster does - 1st star. The leather is of a good quality, uniform in its thickness throughout, with a finish that is solid and uniform - 2nd star. The stitching is evenly spaced, goes all the way through all layers, and is finished correctly; and the snap solidly engages, holds, and disengages as it should - the 3rd star. The fit is snug but not stupidly tight; the cant is right, the height is right, and the holster definitely distributes the weight of this hefty pistol - the 4th star. If the pistol holds up well over the next two years of real time use then I will give it a 5th star. I've seen thinker leather used in quality holsters, but I think this one will work out fine. Is it worth $62.19? Time will tell, and I will revise my review to help folks know one way or the other.

Works great in uniform
I am using this holster in uniform while deployed. I have it on all day everyday. The holster is super comfortable, and it works fine with the standard ACU or MCU riggers belt. It does help if you use a stiffer than normal belt when you go to the bathroom so it doesn't hang awkwardly when your belt is undone. The holster is made of top quality leather and is a perfect fit on the issue beretta. No sloppiness or looseness at all. The snap is secure and fits perfectly.

Sags after break-in period
This holster was perfect when it was new, but it has loosened over a 3 month period and now it has a Barney Fife effect going on. Maybe I am too hard on it or maybe I am too meticulous, I dunno. I just like my hardware to be snapped up tight on a riggers belt with no slack.

Yeah Buddy!
Got this for my Beretta M9 and it fits perfectly and dang is it smooth. I've had quite a few holsters and this is definitely one of the best I've ever used. It just feels really natural and the gun just comes out of the holster like greased lightning. I've practiced drawing and holstering quite a bit with this thing and it seems to be getting even smoother. It's comfortable enough to wear all day too. I'm not talking 9-5 either. I'm talking those long days, and endless shifts type of comfortable. I've looked for something about the holster that they could improve but, I really can't find anything wrong with it. If you are even considering this holster go ahead and buy it; you won't be disappointed.
