MEIREN Anti Barking Device, Handheld Dog Repellent and Training Aid with LED Flashlight, Ultrasonic Bark Control Device

I have 3 chihuahuas and my 2 females do not like it and will stop barking usually, however my male is a bit more stubborn. I have to press button repeatedly before he will stop barking. I have been giving verbal commands at the same time to curb the barking but hasn't changed the behavior. He wont stop with just telling him "no barking" So then I have to use the device.

This is a great tool if your dog doesn't get used to the sound. And I can hear the ringing, too, so I don't know what that means. It worked great the first few days to stop her from biting and from digging in the yard, until she got accustomed to the noise and now doesn't care if I click it.

Doesn’t work.Update: When I first bought it the instructions For using it we’re not great or clear. I tried it a few times and I must have been doing something wrong because it didn’t work as intended.My husband started to use it and it started to work. I have 4 dogs and all my surrounding neighbors have multiple dogs too. So when we let them out in our backyard it’s a brawl and bark fest thru the fences. At one point one of our dogs started digging. Either way, when used correctly, this works like a charm. We now have it on us when we let them out and just one squeeze of the button stops ALL dogs (Neighbor dogs included) from their barking and their fence Brawling. I absolutely love it! I gave it 4 stars because the instructions are terrible and it took a long time for us to figure out how to properly use the device.

Interesting that the advertisement has a corgi on it but my corgi puppy doesn't care about this product at all. More interesting, you cannot just use the ultrasound, it always has the light on when you use the ultrasound....

This device really does work. But the first time I hit that button, inside the house, it seemed to have hurt my dogs ears, enough that they severely coward to it, like it was painful. Second time i used it was outside, while walking the dogs. Right when another dog was coming, they started to lunge at them, i hit the button and they stopped in their tracks. Didn't seem to hurt them at that moment but most definitely got their attention with a quickness. Downfall is, when one dog is being good and the other is not, you can't direct it at one dog, it's gonna affect all of them. Don't let anyone abuse this device. Bottom line, this really does work. I've only had to use it a handful of times. Dogs have calmed down almost completely.

When we first received this product it worked great.After a few more times using the repellent. He figured where the noise was coming from & now ignores it. We stopped using the repellent,

The good: Delivered yesterday and works as intended so far. I have a Yorkie that barks like crazy at the neighbors dogs. I place the unit in startle mode and point it at him and press button while he barks and say "no" firmly and he quiets down. Nothing else has worked like this. He hates other dogs so much he completely ignores his training or commands when he sees or hears them. I have tried training, calming treats, the collar that makes noise when he barks, picking him up and facing him away from other dogs, cbd oil...all to no avail. An unintended benefit is that it also works well on the cat and I can point it at her when she starts to scratch on furniture. Again, with her nothing else has worked. She ignores commands and the bad smelling sprays they sell. The Bad: The strap that came with the unit broke while holding it on my wrist for a few minutes. It is useless as a flashlight because the light is dim. The instructions are poorly translated into English from another language and are difficult to understand. But the unit is simple and can be figured out easily on your own. Insert batteries, toggle the switch to either flashlight or training or startle mode and press button when needed. The training mode did not get any response from the dog but the startle mode is working well.
