Given five stars for first impressions after purchase but not yet used it.
The price was great for the standard of workmanship. For some reason the dark Green was cheaper than the other colours so that’s what I went for and I think it looks good. I like the size and the compartments and appreciate the separate shoe bit at the bottom and the extra fixing straps on the outside for a coat, or in my case I’ll probably attach my small day pack. I’ve tried it on and the top straps and waist straps seem strong and comfortable. I bought it for a forthcoming Interrail trip and think it will be an ideal size for a couple of weeks or so of gear. However so far it is untried and untested so I can only rate it on first impressions.

Absolutely amazing
Completely frazzled with all the airport chaos and luggage problems in summer 2022, and with 2 trips abroad planned for whole family, we decided to travel light and invested in 2 of these rucksacks. A little worried for starters whether we would be allowed to take them onboard as hand luggage, but no problems at all. Particularly since we did not pack them to the gills, so top parts floppy and looking half full. I was amazed what we fitted in them. It included trail shoes, flipflops and snorkelling kit- masks, perspirations and fins. Admittedly, I was a little sneaky and instead of taking our old full length fins, got some short ones, that fitted the rucksacks easily. You may wonder whether we did take any clothes: well yes, we did and managed to fit 3-4 changes of clothes per person, and grooming paraphernalia in mini bottles. All to last for a week away ( with accessibility to washing machine in the holiday locations). So we 2 grown ups had 2 of these rucksacks, and our 2 boys aged 13 and 11, had their school rucksacks, which are actual professional work rucksacks with good capacities.Apology for waffling on, but thought you might find it hel-fuk what can actually fit in them and ease of boarding flights. Material is lightweight and unsure about water resistance, however p;entry of pockets and good stitching. Nothing has come undone and we have not been exactly gentle in using them. Still looking brand new!

Well made and comfortable 😌
This is a good 'casual' backpack for some trekking or a couple of days away. With the hidden hood, it's also waterproof. What it's NOT, is a pack for serious expeditions and extreme conditions. That said, it is well made and suits my purposes perfectly. It's large enough to be useful but not so large as to be cumbersome...Despite being 2m tall, I find it very comfortable to wear - with and without the chest and waist straps. The main area can be divided into 2 making an extra waterproof compartment in the base. The facility to add a water bladder is useful, as is the USB cable. Alas, though the cable works, it will not charge my Samsung Flip5 at the faster rates. So, I presume it's a USB 2 cable rather than USB 3.I am not over enamoured with the weird and unnecessary "G4Free" logo (hence my 4* rating). So, I have covered it with a velcro attached "Union Flag" - see photo. I think it matches the dark blue of this pack rather well and is sufficiently innoculous.I purchased an almost identical (but 40L backpack) back in 2016 and despite everyday use, it's still as good as new. Alas, it was recently "stolen" by our student daughter. She now trundles it around campus and then, at weekends, crams it full with dirty washing to bring home.....Anyway, I have no major complaints as regards this G4Free backpack. Indeed, with the reasonable price, I am quite chuffed. I just hope it lasts as well as my previous one - and doesn't get stolen!

really tested and held up brilliantly
I brought this bag with me to a 4 day camping festival and it was truly brilliant.the inside has loads of room for all your bits and bobs. I brought outfits for the 4 days along with a lot of my camping accessories such as lamps sleeping pillow and that sort of thing inside of the bag and filled the bottom compartment with a copious amount of drink and was honestly surprised with just how much stuff I fit into the bag.I also used the bottom straps to strap a two person inflatable mattress to which is weirdly heavy but then again it is quite large and I used one of the side straps to hold my camping chairs. I tied a sleeping bag onto the side of it too and also strapped a full 5 man tent to the front of the bag. it was a crazy amount of stuff really.I was honestly worried that the weight might break the bag or cause the straps to break but it held up incredibly well which I was honestly surprised about as the bag was that heavy it was a struggle to lift of the ground and for reference I am a 20 year old male who is reasonably fit.my only gripe with the bag is comfort and now this is more likely due to the amount of gear I was carrying and the weight but I felt it could've had more padding on the shoulders and back as after the long walk with it I was a little sore but then again most likely due to the weight I was carrying and not the bag.I can't really fault this bag in any other respect it worked amazing for my purpose and would highly recommend it to anyone.
