We're donating a Casio keyboard (Privia 400) to an orphanage in Africa. Our power supply transforms 110 v AC to 12 v DC. In Africa, we're told, they run on 220 - 240 v. Plug in the AC adaptor that came with the keyboard and you'll either fry it, or the Casio, or both. SO we searched diligently to find the right AC adaptor to play anywhere in the world. We looked at a couple of ABC products -- they have a lot -- and asked Amazon questions. ABC answered within a day or two and recommended this AC adaptor unit -- which we got. So far, we've only been able to test it in North America on 110 -- and it works perfectly. The REAL test will be when it arrives at the orphanage in Kenya and they put on a plug adaptor and stick it in the wall socket. I'll be back to update at that time! I trust, however, that it will work, both based on the voltage info on the back of the adaptor and on ABC's own recommendation.By the way, ABC -- why not list the voltage your AC adaptors are built for in the product information? In addition, it would be helpful if you'd list amps and wattage as well.So far -- recommended! Really solved an issue.

I bought this to replace a damaged adapter for my Privia PX-400r and it works perfectly. I love that it has a smaller profile, and the two piece cable is longer and easier to plug into an outlet than the original adapter from Casio. I've had it for over a year now and have had no issues. Casio should consider packaging these with their digital pianos instead of their OEM adapters.

Purchased for my Casio Privia PX-120DK digital piano. The original adapter got lost in a move and this little gem is an excellent replacement until I can pony up the cash for the OE one.

It is definitely not the same plug it's advertised as.My Casio keyboard calls for an AD-12. I researched extensively which adapter I needed and tried this because it is one of the few plugs on Amazon advertised as AD-12. Our cord disappeared forever ago. This one works perfectly. Great price! Super fast shipping. Would buy again. Of course the original reappeared as soon as we receive this. Keeping the spare, anyway.
