501 Must-Read Books (501 Series) Paperback – January 1, 2007

I recently saw that this book was available & I was able to get a used paperback volume. The book arrived early & in very good condition. I will enjoy reading through this & finding recommendations for books to read or reread.

Great addition to a student's collection.

I'm going to use this book as a reference for choosing books to read when I'm looking. There're so many books....so little time!

I picked this up on sale at Borders and I was looking forward to spending some time with it. After reading the synopsis of "Slaughter House Five" in which the editor refers to the protagonist as "Billy Piper" at least three times in the essay the entire book lost all credibility for me. If they can't get that right...

a page turner. This is a large book. Great heavy, ....glossy paper. For a library..... a must have.

Well, the format is fun. Seeing, as often is the case, a photo of the author, or, at least of the cover, stimulates interest.The reviews of the books, however, are usually just plot summaries.And, the "Other Selected Titles" entries often are of the blunderbust sort and not as helpful as you'd want.Given these objections, you might still have fun with it, as I did.

This sis a god reference for someone who's looking to expand their reading history.
