Perfect for the price
This is a great Piccolo. My daughters broke and needed to be fixed however she needed a piccolo for marching band. She picked this Piccolo, the sound is great, the Piccolo itself is a little smaller than the school issued Piccolos and the mouth piece sits a little differently against her lip things that she easily adjusted to. She loves it and it was delivered quickly and has been amazing.

Great for beginners
Nice, affordable starter instrument. I got this for my kids (8, 10, and 12) and I to learn together. We all love playing and the tone is beautiful.

Good price for the quality
Great for the price. Played piccolo and glue for 8 years. Haven't played in awhile i so wanted a piccolo that wasn't cheap but not too expensive to relearn what I've forgotten. A little pitch in the high end and soft in the low but decent. Not a huge fan of the mouthpiece but is great for a beginner.

Great Piccolo until it starts to leak….not worth it maybe
Great piccolo for beginners and intermediate players. I bought this for leisure playing. Sounds really good for the price that it is. Overall I would recommend this if anyone is interested. I would suggest buying a different swab for this as the one they give is too thick for the piccolo. I recommend Hodge brand for any wind instruments (I have one for my flute and bassoon and they work very well), it is super affordable and ships fast. Sound quality is decent on this piccolo. Upper register is a bit harder to get out but the piccolo is very responsive for the most part and with articulations as well. I liked the case but it doesn’t have an outside pocket to store the rod for the swab. Tuning is not bad some notes are a bit sharper than others but overall the sound is really good and clear.Edit 1: be aware as screws may loosen. Mine fell out and the piccolo stopped working, however, they shipped a brand new one (one day delivery as well) replacement for free!Edit 2: Replacement sounds even better than the old one which probably was a bad batch or slightly defected upon arrival. This one is more responsive than the old one. More in tune as well. Great costumer service on Amazons side.Edit 3: originally rated a 5 star, not a great product. G sharp key went out of whack and the piccolo was leaking a few days prior. Their flute is really great for the price. Piccolo not so much. 1 star now. Not terrible but not good quality at all. The Eastar EPC-3S piccolo is far better and is more responsive than the Eastrock. It is $10 more on Amazon and is extremely worth it. I bought it and the high notes are more responsive and sound better. Tone is better. Don’t buy this piccolo. If you do be ready to return it. Very hit or miss I guess.

Thoroughly Impressed
The sound is on-par with earlier models of the more well-known brands. The instrument is designed well for the price. The most impressive thing is how comfortable it is too play for both elementary students and adults. It has the perfect width and spacing.

Saw a Demo.
Saw this piccolo tried by a piccolo player at the New York.flute store Her comment was it was thinner than most piccolos but she played it. She was pleased with how it played. I was not pleased as the lower and few higher notes did not come out easily for me! Bought it as I thought it would be fun to play! My Gemienhardt needs repairs

Good choice for many
It sounds excellent for the price! Maybe a little difficult to produce tone in the highest register, but this may be due to lack of player skill as this is her first piccolo and she’s only played briefly in the past.
