Love it. It took my music production to that level I needed.

Very sturdy build. Tested on a few pieces of hardware, worked well. Had some sync issues using it with Studio One, there isn't a codec for it though. It's right on time in Bitwig using the codec by Jürgen Moßgraber, I like how he set it up. Synced well with Reaper and Mixcraft 8 as well. Haven't tested in Live or Reason as of yet as I haven't been using them lately.

This thing gets the job done when it comes to sequencing. I recommend it highly. It’s one of the bigger pieces of gear I own but it fits nicely into my setup. The learning curve is quick, but figuring out how to play it isn’t the difficult part, it’s coming up with the patterns and deciding on the patches and drum sounds that I’m sequencing. What I mean is it’s going to take some playing to develop the muscle memory necessary to crank out a live set. The possibilities are endless with this thing.

It’s sexy, French, and heavy, just like the other reviews have mentioned. The software is funny, like your favorite comic. But once you get past the quirks, it will likely take your favorite synth to the next level.I’m juicing my Korg MicroKorg with it on 1 preset, and using it to take my Strymon Timeline to a great place of control. I’ve also only scratched the surface with CV using MOOG Mother 32 and SUBHARMONICON.I still have a lot to learn, and my biggest gripe is note length and ties, and all that. Seems kind of tied very close to the steps, and I blame some of that on my lack of knowledge.A lot of fun to jam and play with. Looking forward to many more hours of enjoyment.

Ok so here's a strange thing. Seems the box was opened and the unit was outside (nothing big but it was outside). No sirial problems so i registered normally but This unit was outside!!. Maybe the costumes or maybe Arturia they replaced the sirial card for a reason. But trust me when I say. No way on Earth that I'll pay money for a box that may or may or not was opened. Now i need to swallow this one but next time I'll buy from Truman

The Beatstep Pro is a *great* sequencer! Significantly improved my workflow working between vintage CV gear, newer midi gear, and a eurorack system. Works flawlessly with an Octave Cat, Prophet 6, TR-8, and Sequential Sixtrak. No issues syncing all devices up. The only drawback is that it doesn't have more sequencers...but for the price - can't beat it!Note: Do NOT buy this from the AudioDeluxe seller on Amazon. The unit I received had clearly been opened before. When trying to register my unit I was told by Arturia that it had indeed been registered to a previous user and I had to go through a whole process to switch it to my own account. You will notice in AudioDeluxe's feedback that several users have had this issue.

Glad I finally picked this up - replaces half of my gear and does everything I need 10x faster. Easy to get started with and from the docs it looks like there's a lot of functionality to learn down the road. Works great with ableton, reaper or FL studio. To the engineers over at Arturia - seriously nice work, thank you!
