Excellent Product
After researching many a dog seat cover, we decided on this iBuddy—- and we are so glad we did!It fits perfectly in the back seat of our 2016 4Runner and our 60 lb. English Lab is very comfortable on it, especially given the mesh window that allows the AC from both the center dash outlets and the outlets on the back of the center console to reach her.Installation is a snap and the construction seems very solid. The side panel is an added bonus that protects the passenger door(s). A more rambunctious breed might push over the center mesh opening, but our 2 year old seems very content to enjoy all the comfort of her Lab Cab in full view of us.There is an additional benefit we didn’t even think of until we installed the hammock-like assembly. There is still space and access to the area behind the front seats—-storage that is inaccessible to your dog. Of course, this arrangement also leaves us the entire cargo storage area in back to carry whatever we pick up on our errands with our fur buddy in tow.You can spend a lot more on this style of cover, but we certainly believe this well-designed, moderately priced protective cover is the best value!

My Dog And I LOVE This iBuddy Pet Car Seat Cover With A Mesh Window
My car is a PT Cruiser. This iBuddy pet back seat car cover fits PERFECTLY!! My dog is a Queensland Heeler, 40 pounds. My dog and I LOVE this iBuddy pet back seat car cover giving it a paws 'n thumbs up!!I gave high scores on everything except the water resistance and that's only because that hasn't been put to the test yet - # 1 because my dog hasn't gotten in the car wet and # 2 it's only Fall now so Winter's snow has yet to arrive. I wanted to include a picture(s), however; the bright sun and technology are not cooperating (if possible, and I remember to, I can circle back and add a picture another time). When I opened the box I found that the car seat cover was folded and packed very neatly and I could see the quality of the fabric and it made me feel like I had bought a really nice "present for my dog" even before I took it out of the box.First thing, I washed it (cold water, short 15 minute cycle) and although you shouldn't put it in the dryer (READ THE INSTRUCTIONS PAMPLET THAT COMES IN THE BOX) I don't have a place to lay it out to air dry so taking a chance I put it in the dryer on LOW heat for 10 minutes. Whew, it was just enough to pull the excess water out leaving it barely dampish. (AGAIN I SAY: R-E-A-D THE D-I-R-E-C-T-I-O-N-S AND FOLLOW THE MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATION just because I got lucky doesn't mean you would.)I found getting it set it up in my car to be really easy. I laid it out on the back seat to find the mesh window to know which side of the hammock faced front/back. Then I attached the straps around the headrests, driver's side first then passenger's side. They're super easy to adjust, snap closure and hold the sides of the hammock up nicely. I chose not to push the padded seat anchors through between the seat back/seat because I didn't want them to possibly cause an indentation in my leather seats (This is the 1st brand new car I've ever bought and owned and at 17 years old now my lil' baby still looks like she just came off the showroom floor!!). The part of the cover that covers the seat has a non-skid backing, which upon installing the cover it seemed to hold the cover in place (another reason why I wasn't too concerned about pushing the seat anchors through). On the back seat passenger's side I zippered up the end panel to protect the door. The strap that holds those side panels up then goes around the hand-held gripper bar, or in my case it slips over a hook, also holds those panels up nicely. For the driver's side door panel I let that drape down over the side of the back seat, which obviously allows my dog to get in the car, but also to protect my seat. I like how there are slits in the cover to slip the seatbelt attachment that comes with the cover through and click into the seatbelt that then attaches to my dog's harness.Jumping in/out of the car is no problem for my dog and the car seat cover stays in place. My dog is a really good traveler - it's get in, settle in, maybe sit up to stretch or stand and turn around to face the other direction, and again, the car seat cover stays in place. As for the color, it's kind of an apricot/copper color, which is different than every other typical car seat cover I've seen on the market. Normally they're black, gray or tan. My preference is tan to better match my car's interior and be less obtrusive plus it helps to keep the temperature inside the car more comfortable, unlike black that attracts and intensifies the sun's heat. I have to say though that this new apricot/copper color is pretty cool looking. Although I should say that if I had a choice between apricot/copper and tan I'd stick with tan just because it better matches my car's interior. Yes, there are other pet seat covers similar to iBuddy that are in tan, however; I like the 2 pockets design (located behind driver's seat) that iBuddy has to hold my dog's leash, poop baggies or whatever. Another plus about iBuddy's pet back seat car cover is that it has a mesh window located between the front seat's bucket seats, which allows visibility for my dog and me to see each other and better air flow for A/C and heater.

This fits great in my SUV and it protects the car doors.
I just got it yesterday and I have already installed it. What you see in the picture is what you get. It was very easy to install. I have not had a change to use it, but it protects the back seat, the rear of the front seat, and the doors. It has a mesh "window" so my dog can see me between the car seats. This window should also prevent him from climbing into the front seat while I am driving. And the material is substantial. I am hoping the non-skid surface on the bottom of the cover works as advertised. The door way flap is not the most convenient, but requirements, it works well. By this, I mean I have to zip and unzip the "flap" and re-attach the clips that hold up the flats and protect the door. So it is a little bit of extra work each time the dogs gets in and out. But I cannot think of a better approach. It is work the flaps to protect the door or leave the flaps down and let the dogs ruin the doors with his paws. Nothing again my dog, he is just doing what dogs do.I have an 2012 Lexus RX 350 and it is like the cover was custom made it fits so well. While my dog is not a water dog, he will get wet when it is raining. So having it be water resistance is a big plus. There are also some pockets in the cover behind the driver seat, so I can put his leash and thing in the pockets. It also comes with a leash that you can connect to the seat belt and then to the dog's harness. That's pretty nice. Sadly, I can not use it as my dog will just chew through it as he has done with so many things before. But I will try.So all in all, a good purchase with which I am happy. :-)

Better for larger cars
I really wanted to love this but the fit is not right for my car. I have a BMW X3 and although it appears to fit it slides all over the seat. It needs some straps that can be attached to the bottom seat. There are two plastic round things that can be wedged between the seat and the back of the seat but they are too big to fit. The color is perfect for my seats and the cover is very well made. I would recommend for a little larger back seat. I would give it 5 stars if it could be secured better.

Good quality and works very well
Quite happy with this seat cover. My pup is a swimmer, a digger and happiest when she looks like she took a mud bath. This keeps it all off the car. She also has a bit of a problem with getting car sick on trips if the road is curvy, and the cover keeps that mess off the car seat too. It is easy to install, stays in place, and is easy to pull out to clean or if the seats are needed for passengers.
