I use these small quick couplers for adding low current LED lamps to my motorcycle!!

I found these to be ideal for low voltage and low current applications. The female connector can be mounted in a panel (if you make the correct size rectangular hole). There is a retaining tab to prevent them from coming unplugged and they were keyed so they can only plug in one way. The wires are tinned, stranded and color coded. They work well and were priced right.
