I have been sloching since I grew a rather larger chest my junior year of high school. I'm 32 now and it's only gotten worse and much less attractive, haha. But about 7 months ago, every single morning the muscles near my lower spine would be so sore, I'd be in literal tears, crying until about 3 hours of stretching it and walking around best I could. Now, I've had 2 children and my pain scale is pretty up there. So, this was extremely painful but I would always find an excuse or I was just literally too busy to see anyone about it. Every SINGLE morning for 7 months, excruciating pain and from 1 to 10, 1 being the 1 being the least, I was at a 12 every morning. I remember from college or something or another that poor posture can cause so MANY issues with your back. Most of all your lumber.I kid you not. I wore this one time for 20 minutes. Went to bed that night and woke up with absolutely no pain, none whatsoever! Now I did use it again for ten minutes before bed. Also I know my posture isn't corrected and will take time but the fact that it helped my lumbar that much, well it's beyond me!! I highly recommend this, trust me I've spent my money on more than a few with not luck whatsoever.

The upper part that goes under your arms is beyond horrible. No matter how I put it on it hurts. Not uncomfortable but painful. The nylon straps are really wide and stiff like a nylon tie-down strap and cuts right into the skin even with a T-shirt underneath. Being that there’s Velcro closures adds to that stiffness. The support for the back feels very good - I gave it the stars - but the upper part around the shoulders and in armpits doesn’t compensate for that. Even with adjustable straps, they still must be pulled firm and it’s painful. I couldn’t wear it for more than 5 minutes minutes or so. Ive never used anything like this before so maybe all of them feel like this and I just wasn’t prepared. I just need some give on the front armpit part then it would be ok I think.

This product is very convenient to wear since it's made with velcro and elastic and can be wear with some clothes as well. I do mostly desk work and my back would hurt on a daily basis. I have tried many posture correcting devices but this one is very comfortable and released pain from my back. I was not sure about the size but the customers services are really good, you have a one year guarantee and can send back the product for whatever reason.

I bought this product mainly for low back pain/support but decided to try a brace that also improves posture. I am 5'5" and 128 lbs with a 31 in waist (at belly button) and was surprised to see I needed a large per their size chart (Large=28-33in waist). I ordered this anyway as it says do not go by clothing size. There are 9 inches of velcro across the front closure for ample size adjustment. I needed to close it beyond that available velcro space. I was also at the very end of the shoulder strap adjustment before it was close to getting tight enough, so in no way could I adjust this to fit. In addition, there is an overwhelming chemical smell, as others reviewers have noted. Even after I took the brace off, I still smelled of the chemicals from where it touched my clothes. It may dissipate with washing and airing, but it was making my throat scratchy and was not something I wanted to deal with further. For positives, it did seem to stabilize and improve the pain in my lower back. The waist and back areas were comfortable, but the straps around the front shoulder/underarm were not. But again, I could not adjust it to fit properly, which may have affected this. In summary, it seems to work as intended, but size down. And the smell was a deal breaker for me.

This product actually works. I've tried the posture corrector that are shaped like a figure eight-and they just don't work, The added belt and long backing keeps you in an upright position while the straps pull your shoulders back. It is very comfortable as the straps that go under your armpits ar anchored lower. The other correctors cut into my under arms. These attach nicely lower down my back. I have to add that I first purchased the wrong size but immediately bought the right one in L. I contacted the company about the return of the XL. I had a virus at the time and the company was great in handling my return. I recommend this brace highly. I've tried a few different brands and this is by far the best. If anyone has questions I would be happy to help. But the customer service is so good you wont have to "ask Amazon". I can't thank them enough during this time.

I bought this back in May in the middle of the general lockdown. I am a teacher, so I suddenly found myself spending more hours sitting at a desk than I normally do. The brace was useful in helping me maintain good sitting posture, it gave me very welcome relief, and was mostly comfortable to wear (except for a slight soreness around the armpit, for which the accompanying pads provided an ok remedy). Unfortunately it didn’t last long. The other day as I was putting it on, the left side strap came off (pictured). As you can see, the seems keeping it in place are not that great and you can easily see ways in which this product might have been made sturdier. I would have understood it coming apart if I had been wearing it everywhere every day, but that was far from the case. Only at the beginning did I wear this frequently for about a month. After that, I only wore it once or twice a week, and for periods, not even that often. Nor am I a particularly big person (5’9”, 155#) that that might have contributed to wearing down the product. At least now I know what kinds of details in manufacture to pay attention to. Do your homework!

I work a desk job so I was starting to have back problems lately and I cannot stand straight as well as before. Hopefully, this will fix my problem. I have worn it for a while today and I feel like I stand better. I will keep wearing it.
