Gets the grout out quick!

These diamond blades worked great to cut out in sanded grout in my tile back splash in my kitchen. I got them because, when trying to degrout my shower tiles I burnt through 4-5 of the multi fit dremel ones! The dremel ones are also 1/16” thick like these but I think the issue was my tiles in the shower were even closer together than that. So most of the time I wasn’t just cutting grout but also tile. What a pita! Took so long it gave me golfers elbow from the tool :( My kitchen tiles looked to be the same width from each other but it’s hard to tell when they’re grouted in. Regardless, I only had to use one of these diamond blades to cut out all the grout in my kitchen! It was so much easier than my shower. Idk if it was really the diamond blade or the tile spacing so I can’t say for sure these are better than the dremel ones, but for the cost they are worth it. I will say that there doesn’t seem to be as much diamond particles on these blades as the dremel one. But the dremel one isn’t diamond it’s carbide so it’s not quite as tough as the cutting material on these. FYI- on a linear scale, diamond is 100 times more harder than tungsten carbide. Translated to the mohs hardness scale, diamond is a 10, the hardest out there, tungsten carbide is an 8-9. One draw back is they don’t have a straight section like the dremel ones. I use the straight section of the dremel blades to get into the corners of the horizontal grout lines.

Incredibly effective and great value for cost

Used these on a masonry project to cut clay and stone bricks, trim mortar edges, and shape brick veneers. At 1/4th the cost of similar products from big box brands, I expected these to be worn out quickly after using them up on a couple of the harder cutting surfaces. Originally intended to use these for non-detail cuts to save my more expensive blades for the detail work. I was blown away at how effective and resilient these were. Even after cutting for a couple hours, the grit seemed to maintain. Cut lines and bite were consistent throughout too.As with any grit blades, they do not last forever, but they seemed to last as long as the more expensive versions and performance seemed about the same too. Overall 5/5 stars, when I need more I will reorder these.

They did a fine job

These fit my Rigid oscillating tool perfectly. Used for floor tile grout removal. They did a fine job, but a little slow, I guess to be expected. Never done this before so when the grit wore down it was a little disappointing. Read reviews about this brand as well as better known ones and all had positive reviews and negative reviews, so wasn’t surprised. Would definitely buy again if I ever had to do grout removal again. Hopefully not tho.

Wore out fairly quickly

Mounted fine on a Milwaukee tool. First use was to remove some old tile grout. Had to replace bladed more frequently than expected.

Good price for what I needed it for

Worked excellent on concrete and brick, cutting between a daisy chain of drill holes

They ARE durable - great for removing thinset or cutting Hardie siding and trim

The XG4004D blade set is very good, much better than I expected based on some of the reviews posted on Amazon. They fit my Ridgid multitool much better than the VTopmart steel blades, and I never had a problem with the XG4004D blades breaking (or breaking the collar on my multitool, as happened with the VTopmart blades).I have used the XG4004D blades for removing thinset where I had to remove a 12x24 shower tile that needed to be replaced. It was slow, but the blade I used held up really well. I also used one of the "square" blades to cut 5/4x4 HardieTrim and Hardie siding and shingles, and it did a great job - nice, clean cuts, and the blade still looks like it has plenty of life left.$20 for four of these blades, versus $25 for a single Milwaukee blade from the Big Box stores? Pretty easy choice...

Works on light concrete work.

I bought these to open up a vertical crack in basement wall and to my surprise I only used one blade and it still has some life left. The longer pointed blade worked best for opening up the 1/16 inch crack so I could patch it.I think this worked better than a grinder creating less dust.Tool was Porter Cable PC250MT.

Works well for the price

Bought an oscillating tool for a home improvement project. Brother in law convinced me, and I have to say it was an eye opener. had never used one, and the blades for it seemed pretty expensive, so I went to Amazon. this blade set arrived in a timely manner, and was well packaged. We have used one of the blades (the pointed tip one) , to remove/clean existing grout between bricks and it worked very well. We have re-grouted about 40 bricks and it still has good cutting ability. I am not sure if that is due to the softness of the grout or the quality of the tool grit, but I am happy with this purchase so far. It will cut into the brick pretty easily, and I have not yet attempted to use it on concrete block. I can recommend this set for use on a Dewalt Oscillating tool (fits perfectly, and seems to last well.
