Needed a powerful light for the basement we have some dark spots because there’s only one bulb socket. This light is amazing! Installs just light a regular lightbulb.Brightens up the whole basement. Love that it’s dimmable, so we can set a mood for when we have parties down there!! My basement is About 800 ft.²! Worth every penny! Highly recommended!

I needed a new light for a fixture in my warehouse and wanted something bright that would fit in a standard bulb socket. This certainly fits the bill. I'm using it as an ancillary light at the door to see while I walk across the room to turn on the main lights. It replaced an old circular fluorescent fixture that was really dim. This is a huge improvement and I can see waaaay better than before (so I'm tripping over less stuff). Very nice and the price was right.

This light has transformed our garage! When we moved into the home (2 weeks ago) there was a very dim light bulb in the garage and that was all! Couldn't hardly see a thing! We ordered this (very reasonable price BTW compared to other similar products) and it arrived VERY quickly! I put it in and my wife said, "AMAZING!!" It really did make the garage much brighter! Not only is it bright, but you can also direct the light where you want it to shine. Excellent buy for the price! If you need some better light in your garage, this is the light for you! Just buy it!

very bright and screws in perfectly with or without extension. didn't realize they wings only folded upwards before purchase. would recommend for ceiling fixture only. i put in shop light to hang from hood of car and found that while they are well constructed they do not survive a fall any better than a standard glass incandescent bulb will and would need a very large cage to protect it. have bought 2 and would recommend. it is suprisingly bright and will easily light up a one car garage or carport by itself.

The light itself is great, brighter than you'd think even in comparison to other LED lights in the same wattage range. The only downside is the extension accessory broke after a single install and attempted removal. I had already decided I didn't want it at that height so that's why I was removing it when it broke and I had to use a pair of pliers to screw the base out of the socket. The light itself seems to be made a step above and quality over that crap extension, so that's good.

I had one 60w light in my two car garage so replaced with this I saw the product online. This really change my look of my garage as before I used to you extra lights when I had to find something but now with this with this light it brightens the entire garage. I don't think I will never have to use the any external light again.I do my car oil changes and small work project home so this is perfect light that will be perfect for me. I would strongly recommend this light to everyone.

So I am a BRIGHT light junky. I regularly purchase and use some of the brightest CFL and now LED bulbs you can buy. I also have purchased a crazy amount of LED bulbs... let's just say I am at 300+ now, so I know what is good, what is bad and what is too expensive for what you get.I do like that these come with the extensions because there is a decent chance you will either need it or want it due to the design of the bulb. (The side panels can flip up but not down so even if you don't think you will need the headspace, unless you just want downlight, you will need the adapter.)The problem I have with these is that they are cheaply made. How do I know that past the touch/feeling? Because the second unit I opened had the metal bulb base (that screws into the extension or the actual light fixture) was broken off. Now that is bad but even worse? The wiring for the base was disconnected which means if I had screwed in the extension or the bulb without looking, it would have been a fire hazard and/or shocked me.The scary thing is that this section of the bulb is very protected in this design so it is unlikely it just "happened" in transit. So you are left thinking that the extension was heavy enough to pull the base out (very scary) or they packed it this way from the factory (maybe worse).How do I know it is not likely it happened in transit? I ship items for a living and have done tens of thousands of packages. I know what can break and what is not very likely to break when shipping, even internationally.So it feels cheap, it is poorly made and I wasn't blown away by the brightness either. I really need to get a lumen meter but it feels like less than 6,000. If I had to guess, maybe 4,000.As a reference, I wanted to install both of these in a medium sized room in my basement (16x15 feet) with white walls and a 8 foot ceiling. While one lights up the space it covers fine, I need the second bulb to even get close to enough light to see the second half of the room.I will attempt to replace the broken unit and see if the next one is defective but I want to be clear, I am not sure I would even trust the non-broken units in a space I wasn't in. For my use in this room that is fine as I won't leave them on when I am not in that space but I have a lot of bulbs, pretty much all of them, that I would feel just fine leaving on without me being in the space so I felt the need to give the lowest score possible.

Product is surprisingly bright. It took me a while to figure out how to adjust light intensity. Simply turn off your regular switch on the wall and flick it back on.I was looking to buy lights for my green screen project but those video lights are pricey. I ordered this light to test and I think it would be able to do the job if I have multiple lights setup to fill a wall. Although this is something that I have yet to see.
