"But they're just plastic bowls"
Yeah yeah, they're just expensive plastic bowls. Except that these plastic bowls were designed with the perfect dimensions to cook their respective foods easily. And well, too. I've only used the mac and ramen ones so far, but I suspect the others won't disappoint. Ramen comes out nice and firm but still fully cooked. The one for mac stands out a little here though: cooking it without having to drain leaves the starch in the mix which makes the cheese sauce thicker.

Quick and Easy Deliciousness!
I work, go to school, and raise two boys on my own. I also have health problems that often prevent me from standing over the stove for long periods of time. I bought the Rapid Ramen Cooker a couple of years ago, lost it when I moved, bought it again, then found out they had this set and bought this. It's a bit of an understatement to say that I love these products.USE: In the Ramen and Mac Cookers, you empty an entire package into the bowl, then add water to the line. Ramen cooks in 3-4 minutes. Mac cooks in 4:30 (2:30, stir, 2:00). In the Oatmeal and Rice Cookers, you fill to a line, then fill water to the next. I get flavored oatmeal, so it took 2 pouches. Oatmeal cooks in 1:30. I haven't used the Rice Cooker yet.RESULTS: Deliciousness, quicker and easier than ever before! Everything tastes wonderful and cooks much better than attempts in a regular bowl. In fact, I use these to cook soups and other foods as well, because it cooks so much more evenly. I love the handles and the fact that it never gets too hot to hold. It's easy to clean, either by hand washing or dishwasher.I have nothing negative to say about these products. They have made my life so much easier! I have already recommended them to my friends and family. Rapid Brands has a fan for life!

I can not give these as gifts as they looked like they have been used or split from a set ...
I already have the Rapid Ramen Cooker and was looking to get another. I went ahead and purchased this set thinking I could use the other items as gifts. Not the case. The only one that came wrapped in the cardboard piece as they show was the Ramen Cooker that I planned on keeping for myself. The others I wanted to give as gifts came as just the bowl with a cut square of cardboard in the bottom of the box. The Oatmeal one doesn't even have that. The only directions with that one is what is molded into the bowl. The Rice Cooker's small square piece even says its a set of "two" on the small cut cardboard square where there is only one in this set. I can not give these as gifts as they looked like they have been used or split from a set with not having the proper package on them. I would not order them again from here.

but that's fine, too
I initially bought the Rapid Ramen Cooker for use at work. I figured, eh - it's 6 bucks or so, I can drop it and see if it works. I can say I was honestly surprised at how well it cooks the noodles. The claim that it cuts sodium in half is completely laughable - as you're just using less water and thus less seasoning, but that's fine, too. What also surprised me greatly was how quick it was to wash the RRC. Any leftover noodle bits did not stick to the tray, even after sitting out on the desk for an hour. I've told all my coworkers that I like about it - and also the many who ask me about it every other day when I use it. Turns out the RRC also doubles as a nice bowl for cooking Chef Boyardee, especially since the handles stay cool! That said, I felt it was worth buying the set for home. Everyone has days where you don't want to be bothered cooking. And what's easier than chicken nuggets in the oven, and mac'n'cheese done in the microwave in 5 minutes, perfectly cooked?Highly recommended, would buy again. (Need more time with the rice cooker)

Pleasantly surprised!
We bought this set after seeing a Shark Tank rerun and figured "why not?" We ordered before the credits rolled. Our order arrived in a few days but, alas, it was just the Mac-n-cheese version, not the whole set. A few text messages with Amazon later, a new set was on the way and they let us keep the Mac-n-cheese container. Can't complain about customer service like that. We've used all four and found that the end product is very tasty once we adjusted liquid levels and timing to fit our microwave and our preferences. (Here is a hint- use chicken stock instead of water with the ramen and the rice.)Given that we are a big family of six, these help us speed up the cooking process, control servings by cooking in small batches, and offer choices of starch with our meals. (And, yeah, ramen is bad for your no matter what- but oatmeal is very healthy and you can opt for whole grain pasta in the mac-n-cheese container or brown rice in the rice cooker.) They are also great ways to take lunch to work or to let your kids learn how to cook.

He told me the food has a terrible texture when cooked
I sent the kit to my son who is attending college. He told me the food has a terrible texture when cooked. Also, a thin layer of the material used to make the cooking implements bubbled up and peeled off. He threw the kit in the garbage.

Love this set
Love this set. We use them all the time. Unfortunately the Mac n cheeses bowl came broken, as the four pieces were stacked into the box. I just purchased the Mac n cheese bowl at Walmart. Would suggest this product to anyone.
