Dogs still get ticks
Honestly I don't know how to rate this repellent. I use it on my Cavaliers every 4 weeks. And they still get ticks. I'm not impressed, but maybe without the repellent they would have even more ticks? We live in city centre and I walk them in the park where grass is short. So we are not high risk area for ticks.

Kills ticks reliably
In past years we've opted to manually pick ticks off our dog, but this year there have been so many of them we needed to resort to chemical means.Should have done that from the start! This stuff worked so well I wondered if the tick plague had ended, then forgot to re-treat the dog for a week and immediately they were back all over him. Retreated, set an alarm so that wouldn't happen again, no ticks since. Very effective and very affordable.
