I recently got my hands on the SmallRig 10-inch Magic Arm, and I'm thoroughly impressed with its build quality and versatility. Bought this as a trial and was pleasantly surprised. A reasonable price for a high quality item. I did initially struggle with the tightening mechanism, not figuring out how I could just tighten the end piece, before realising everything goes tight using the one lever mechanism for all joints. Once I know this - its a great little product and the clamp was easy to use as well. It's one of those products where I feel like I also should have a spare... even if I don't have an immediate use for it...just in case I feel the need to clamp something else on... somewhere... somehow. Highly recommended!

It’s made out of quality material, not the easiest thing to manoeuvre and make it stay I position.. but once you manage to set it it does the job.. but I am worried one day it’ll drop on my clients face 🤦🏻‍♀️

Another great quality item from this brand. A must have. You can literally set it up almost anywhere!! And feel free do take many angles and many videos.Great quality..smooth and amazing.

I bought this to mount an Elgato Mini light for my teaching studio. Having used cheaper plastic clamps and magic arms before, and been disappointed with holding ability, I was prepared to spend a little more on a mainstream brand.Wo this arm is well engineered. Good solid metal components with a good grip and quality fit. This works so well as a whole thing where others always had drawbacks.If you need a quality clamp that is easy to fit, tightens well and holds forever, this is the one. Add the magic arm and you can mount a pretty heavy item easily.Worth bearing in mind, like all others, it relies on a nut tightened against the camera body to hold the camera in place. Just like all mountings of this type, the camera will rotate a little if pushed. so its never going to be good for loads that have some sort of uneven press to one side. Magic ars=ms will never work for that.If you're in the need of a quality arm and clamp, this is the one for you.

its not often that I have the feeling of wanting to actually write a review.I bought this to attach a desktop speaker to an existing rig that's also holding the laptop.This arm was light, strong, very easy to adjust. Very firm to fix in place. Overall, very impressive and excellent quality piece of kit.

Wanted this to help filming collectible card openings it works great, hard to get it into the right position but I think that's more on me than the product
