The charger has enough power to charge through my Tech21 phone case. The case thick by cell phone standards and the charger gets the job done. Just drop the phone on, there is a red light on the bottom that lets you know that the phone is charging. I love the multiple charging ports on the bottom. It acts as my "charging station" for all of my electronic devices. I bought a bunch of 1' USB cords and now have everything in one place and don't have to take up a bunch of outlets.

Does not work with a Nexus 6p, even though their title suggests it does. Sending back for refund to Amazon. The Nexus 5x also will not work with this charger.

We thought this did not have to be plugged in. Disappointed. Its nice but not what we needed and it charges very slowly.

Does NOT work with the new Nexus 5X or 6P. I have both (for development testing) and can confirm they don't work as they were not built with qi-enabled functionality. I'm sure it's a fine device, but check your device independently for compatibility and don't trust what the seller says.

I’m using a Moto G 2015 model with an aftermarket micro USB qi charging pad. I’ve now used several models of Qi charging pads with various levels of success – some charge fast, some slow, some get entirely too hot (one even melted) and others stay cool. This one is probably the best I’ve used.I was originally interested in it for use on my desk. Seeing my phone from an upright angle is an advantage to productivity. What has impressed me the most, though, is that the charger never gets warm (the qi pad does, but doesn’t set off warning bells on the phone’s temperature monitoring software) and it charges very quickly – much faster than my other qi charging pads.I hate that none of these come with the wall charger – so plan on purchasing a 5v 2A wall charger. Otherwise, this really is a great model, and I like it quite a lot.I received this in exchange for a truthful review. Landscape and portrait with not having to worry about positioning the phone. It simply works great. I like the subtle red indicator light that lets you know when your device is charging. It's not too bright like other wireless chargers with indicator lights that I've used.I tried to use this charger with my LG G4, and it didn't work very well. It could be the curved back on the G4, I don't know. I don't fault the charger, because it works flawlessly on the S6.The build quality is very solid. It feels sturdy on my desk. The angle is perfect for watching videos.Another great feature is that this is also USB hub to charge 4 more devices. Why not make this a charging station for all your USB devices.Overall this is a great product that I highly recommend!
