Best value for money
I love the taste of watermelon lime flavor. I needed a good flavor to use it on my runs. Between Gu, tailwind, Skratch and many other brands, I think this was the best value for money. It dissolves clear in water, so you don't need to shake it too much, taste awesome and is good on stomach. Now, I'll always buy tailwind, I do need to try other flavors too.

This is NOT short dated
Since this rarely goes on sale, I wanted to stock up but was worried about it expiring. Just letting you know the expiration date is Dec.2027(I will DEF go thru all his by then!)

Reliable, and NO TUMMY UPSET
This stuff is amazing whether it is a long run, workout or a race. When I race, I run hard (sub 3 hour marathoner speaking) .This is a phenomenal product. I don't get GI issues with this like I do with other products. It is expensive, but you can count on it to do the job.

Pleasant gentle taste
Mixed one scope in 500 ml of water. Very pleasant and gentle taste. Not overwhelmingly sweet and not salty. Tastes like delicious water. I can see myself drinking those exclusively during long hikes and trail runs replacing my gels and LMNT salt as after a while it was difficult to down gels and salty water tasted gross. Can't wait for spring to try it.I'll take those too during long treadmill runs.

I finally have found my new ultramarathon sports drink.
I purchased this product after a friend of mine kept going on and on about how much he liked it. I was skeptical, but really held out hope that the promises it made could be delivered. I do a lot of ultramarathons and almost always deal with some sort of GI issue during and after the race. In the latter miles (60 and beyond, usually) food doesn't have any appeal and my digestive tract seems to be totally shut down. Sweet/sugary drinks like Gatorade are hard to stomach so I am typically running on fumes. Following the recommended serving size, my 17 oz soft flask bottles hold about 150 calories worth of Tailwind, so maybe 30-50 more than a gel. It's not overly sweet, but does have a taste (I purchased the Berry flavor.) I bought this product to use at the 2017 Bryce Canyon 100 Miler before finding out that's what they would be serving during the race. At each aid station, I would fill one bottle up with their Tailwind and one with straight water. I will assume their mixing ratio was roughly the same as what I would do at home.At the start of the race, I was roughly 145 lbs (to give you a perspective) and I consumed I believe twelve 17 oz bottles of Tailwind, skipping refill at the last aid station. Besides that, I had two gels and two basic granola bars and a half a banana, and that was it for the entire, nearly 28-hour, race. I did not bonk, though I admittedly had a brief period of fatigue--there is a difference--in the middle of the night, and I had zero GI issues, despite temperatures reaching the mid-80s in the shade--what little shade there was. The most shocking result of the Tailwind was that I actually did feel hungry at times later in the race. This NEVER happens to me as usually my system is so messed up I can't even think about food. I'll note that while I didn't eat a lot of solid food, I actually could have had I tried. I just seldom felt the need for it.This was my first time using the Tailwind so I was a little cautious. I guess I possibly could have used more Tailwind and less water, but not knowing how my system would handle it, I didn't want to go "all-in" on the product. My friends who were with me during and after the race said I looked surprisingly good afterwards considering what I had been through. I mention this because one of the friends had seen me after a 100 miler the previous October that took about the same time and he said I looked like...well, bad. I did not have Tailwind at that event but wish I had and know that I'll be carrying it in every distance race going forward. The packaging says Tailwind is the only nutrition you need, but I think my metabolism is a little too high to not have some solid food along with it and that's fine as long as my body doesn't reject it. There's no way I could eat enough during a long ultra to keep from losing weight during the race, but it's good to have finally found a product that will keep me going and not sideline me with GI issues.

Subtle in a good way.
Solid, dissolved well. Taste is faint compared to most other powders but that means you can double it in one bottle and not hate yourself for doing so, or drink it all day and not get tired.
