My hygienist recommended this mouthwash and I am wishing I'd found it sooner. I have mild gum disease and have lost a few teeth due to my struggle with bad genetics and my anxiety about dentists. My dental hygiene habits suffered over the years as a result.The harsh mouthwashes like Listerine and some of the others were burning my mouth and when I'd use it at night they'd make the skin around my mouth break out and the corners of my lips were cracking. I just never felt like they really got my mouth as clean because by morning I'd have even worse breath and felt like I'd been chewing on batteries all night. So, I did not use mouth wash as frequently as I should have and you can guess the rest of it. Did you know brushing only cleans about a quarter of your mouth?? I have 4 crowns in my mouth and it can be a real pain to really feel like I've gotten in there and handled business.CloSYS makes my mouth feel cleaner, for longer. I am not seeing the tartar and plaque build-up creep up as quickly and when I use this religiously at night and in the morning I rarely experience the bad breath I did using Listerine.YES, it does have a slight chlorine-odor/taste to it but once it gets in your mouth and you're swishing it around, it diminishes right away. It feels like cool water with a hint of mint. That taste does not linger. I felt like I'd just gently rinsed with water, only my mouth was SO clean and stayed clean for hours.It may not cure cavities as some of the other reviews on here are saying but it will definitely put a big dent in the amount of bacteria and build-up forming in your mouth. There is a more mild version than this (but I doubt you'll need it) and the senior version which I bought for my parents (and they love!).Long story short-- if you hate mouthwash and avoid it, try this instead. It is so gentle and works so much better.

For some amazing reason this mouthwash helps keep tonsil stones down. The taste is good and it doesn’t sting. This is my second order and I will buy again.

I bought this on the recommendation of my dentist. I would say this product is ok. At first, like many other users, I experienced a metal after taste. The aftertaste problem has diminished but I also am only using this at night not in the morning. I am not happy that it contains sucralose. If I reorder I will most likely get the flavor free one so I can avoid the sweetener. I won't know until my dentist visit if this is doing the job and I'm not big on using a mouthwash in general.

This mouth wash is amazing! It is a mild mint flavor and alcohol free. My husband has tried everything on the market for alcohol free mouth washes and would always end up with light staining at the root of his teeth. He would go in for his 6 month check up with his dentist and they would scrub it off, but then it would always return. We use sonic care electronic tooth brushes, so it was surprising that these kept coming back since the sonic care tends to clean deeper than a manual tooth brush. After he spoke to the hygienist about this concern, we finally figured out that all of the alcohol free brands available on the market at Wal Mart or Target contain an added dye in them. And the repeated use of the dye in his daily mouth wash was causing the teeth to show light stains. Once we switched over to the CloSYS alcohol free mouth wash, we never had any problems! It's great that Amazon offers it in a subscription service too! We can set this up to be delivered on a schedule or the freedom to order it whenever we get low. It has a mild minty favor to help keep breath fresh. The alcohol free formula is great to keep your mouth healthy and keep it from burning during our daily dental routine at home. Also, after my husband suffered from a pre-gingivitis diagnosis a couple of years ago, this has helped to keep him on track with his home daily dental cleaning routine and we have only had great follow ups with the dentist since using this mouth wash on a daily basis. We pretty much stick to the suggested amount of 1/2 oz and find that this large bottle lasts a long time before we need to order more. It is also great for sensitive mouths, like mine, and does not irritate the mouth and gums like an alcohol based mouth wash can. Over all, I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to add or replace an alcohol free mouth wash to their daily dental routine!

Use as a rinse after flossing on the advice of my periodontist. Pretty much flavorless if your worried that it tastes disgusting!

I don't get they hype on this mouthwash. it is nothing special. it has no alcohol in it so maybe that is it? but my mouth does not feel fresh after using. its very mild and boring. I would not recommend.
