This diffuser is excellent. It does the job well
This diffuser is excellent. It does the job well, and it looks really cool when it's running. It is psychedelic, yet it looks very elegant and modern, maybe even futuristic. I would give it 5 stars, but I have two minor complaints. I will go into detail about the complaints, but please keep in mind, I think it's really a great product, overall, and we will be using it all the time. The color can be set to one color at a time, which is great. Each color is also offered in a bright version and a dim version, which is great. There is also a setting which cycles through the colors, which is good but not great...my girlfriend said, "I wish there was an option to change the colors much more slowly", and I was thinking the same thing--it changes too often. A "slow cycle" option would be an improvement, and I would use that setting. Perhaps there could also be a dim version of the fast and slow color-cycling modes. My only other complaint: I wish the tiny green selection lights, and the selections printed on the side of the cover, were in a different place (because it disrupts the background light color, marring the perfect futuristic appearance). The buttons, the tiny green selection lights, and the words printed on the cover, AND the spot where the power cable exits the unit...I wish these were all on the same side, so I could turn that side toward the wall, displaying only the great look of the product towards the room, not the operating controls. Maybe even better if the controls were on a remote (maybe the type of remote that is built into the power cord)...then you could turn it any way you wanted, it would still look perfect. But like I said, this thing is great! It is not a piece of junk, so read the instructions carefully...for example, the atomizer disc should be cleaned occasionally with a Q-tip, and you are not supposed to touch the disc and get skin oils on it. And there is a proper direction to tip the unit when you are pouring out the water, so that you don't water the electronic parts. So take a few minutes to read the instructions so you know how to care for this excellent product.

Nice Little Unit
This is my second diffuser from URPower. My smaller one I keep at work on my desk, and this larger one at home. The ambient light is beautiful, nicely colored, and the transitions are smooth and gradual, versus a flashing of rapid change. I will say that the light is fairly bright for such a small unit, so just keep that in mind if you elect to put this in a bedroom and would be kept up by the light. The capacity of this unit is 700 mL to the fill line. Unfortunately the cup that comes with it is far too small to fill it, but I simply keep a 16.9 oz. Water bottle handy to fill it up. Now, adding less water will give you a stronger atomization and, therefore, more of a noticable mist. I fill mine before bed and let it run.The "throw" for essential oils from this unit isnt bad. Being that there is no fan propulsion, its unfair to expect this to fill a room with essential oils. I add 10 or so drops to a full tank, and I will say that the dispersion is pretty good. Some have complained that water drips out of the cover and "all over" when they take the lid off. This is a humidifier. It atomized water into a cool mist and projects it. That water will accumulate and condense on the surface it is propelled into. Do you want a dry humidifier? Good luck with that. Sure it does drip a little bit, so when you take the cover off just hold it over the reservoir and let it drain. It is, honestly, not a major thing.Overall, this product performs very well, looks beautiful, and does its job. So far I've had really good luck with the URPower products. My suggestion? If you're thinking of getting this unit, get it. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

OMG I LOVE IT!!!
I'm new to aromatherapy and essential oils, so I bought 3 diffusers because I couldn't decide what I wanted, and I wanted to use them in different rooms. This one is BY FAR my Favorite! I didn't think I'd like it when I took it out of the box, but once I prepared it for use and plugged it in...I fell in love immediately!I actually really like the design of the unit, and the colors are very pretty and vibrant, and the light settings allow you to dim the brightness for night time use. I have a lot of medium to dark furniture in my house, but the wood detail kinda just blends into its surroundings. Doesn't look tacky or cheap at all.The size makes it large enough to double as a nightlight. The extra large tanks means that you can run it all day or night without having to refill, and the auto shut-off kicks in and turns the unit off when the water gets too low. I turn mine on at about 11pm, and it's still going strong at about 1pm the next day. I'm getting about 14 hours of continuous use before it shuts off.It is also super super quiet, with almost no perceptible mechanical noise unless you literally put your ear to it (I just did lol), and even then it sounds like a faint whisper. You can hear the water in the unit when it's on, but honestly, I really like that. It sounds like a gentle babbling brook or a little stream - very relaxing and soothing. The unit also has an adjustable mist setting for high or low output, but it's kinda hard to tell the difference even when sitting there staring at the mist output. I don't mind this, because it delivers a consistently strong most either way.The only thing that could make it any better is if it had a remote, but it's in no way a hindrance to enjoying this unit. In fact, I like this one so much that I am seriously considering exchanging one or both of the other ones I bought for another one or two of these for other rooms! So far, I'm really glad I chose this diffuser.

There were others that seemed happy with it
been running this diffuser daily for about 3 weeks and it works great. It puts nice scent in the air and just a touch of moisture to improve dry or stale air. It runs 3-4 hours then shuts-off automatically when it's out of water. I use plain tap water and 100% pure essential oil blends (a few drops of oil blend each time i fill the diffuser). It won't work if you fill it too full. This is a small device for a small room (works perfectly in a 10x12 or 12x14 room). You would want a larger capacity diffuser for a big room. This nifty little diffuser about saved our lives during the recent fires in Cali. The air was toxic and everyone got sick from smoke inhalation. We bought a hepafilter and sealed ourselves in the bedroom for nearly 2 weeks. 2 humans and a large dog in 1 small room with all windows and doors closed ... the air got horribly stale and dry not to mention the smells that occur with 2 ppl, a dog, and no fresh air. Yet this little diffuser kept the air fresh and pleasant. Using a therapeutic breathing blend helped with the coughing and congestion from smoke exposure. Relax and Sleep blends helped with the claustrophobia of being locked inside for 2 weeks while the air outside was too toxic to breath.

Fantastic Humidifier/Diffuser
I have had horrible allergies this fall, and have chronic congestion and sore throats. I've tried just about everything, even the doctor, and experience no relief while taking over the counter decongestants to doctor prescribed antibiotics and nasal sprays. I find this humidifier to be very helpful in relieving some of my symptoms. It was very easy to put together, and blows a steady strong cool air mist. It can run for a very long time, about 12 hours, when placed on the 'on' setting (or you could choose the 1 hr, 3 hr, or 6 hr timers). It has an automatic shut off when it runs out of water to disperse. It has a really nice arrangement of lights and colors; you can let it transition through all the colors, or pick a color (and then decide whether you want it bright or dim), or turn off the light if you like it dark or if you want to sleep. It makes a sound similar to rain drops or a stream. It's not loud at all, but if you are extremely sensitive to noise, you might not love it; however, for the average person, I think it's very quiet. It comes with a cord to plug into the wall, and thus does not run on batteries.I'm very pleased with my purchase, and would definitely recommend this as a humidifer or diffuser. One quick tip: when taking off the lid to replace water, don't tilt the box towards the left side or all the water droplets gathered on the lid will drip out of the hole where the water diffuses (if that makes any sense). Also, make sure to follow the cleaning instructions once every 3 days and never let water sit idly in the device.
