Did not know I need this
I wasn't sure if this was the exact adapter that I needed, but going by the photos and its description, I gathered that this adapter is the right one to use if I want to change the direction of the light with the light box diffuser on it. This adapter makes the light stand that much more useful.

Really well built
This product is very robust and appears to be all metal construction. It works really well on the top of a stand carrying a Speedlite and an umbrella reflector. I like that the clamps are all a good size and hence easy to use and tighten up well. Takes away the fear of things dropping off (like expensive Speedlite). In a completely different class from the plastic alternatives in tI've used in the past which cost nearly as much!
