Q: Why does the back of the pallet have an asterisks that shows 3,4,6, and 8 are not for use around the eyes?

Wet n wild is a vegan line. Because of this, some colors cannot be called eyeshadow but are called pressed pigments instead as they have not been approved for use in the immediate eye area. This is super common these days- with higher end vegan brands as well as drugstore. The reason that these pigments have not been approved for the eye area has to do with their ability to stain the skin and not so much as they are a danger. Wet n wild is my favorite drugstore brand and KVD Vegan Beauty is one of my favorite sephora brands for sure. Both have pressed pigments and they have never stained my eyes nor have they irritated me in any way. Obviously can’t speak for what others are sensitive to, but since I am sensitive to many, many eye products, I feel I can say that they are worth to try for anyone at this price.

Q: #7 says not to use around eyes. That is the color I purchased this palette for. Why would this be in an eyeshadow palette if it can’t be used on eyes?

In the USA, some pigments used in powder products are listed as “not safe for eyes” because the fda doesn’t wants to spend the money for testing to approve. Whereas in Europe, where laws for food and cosmetics products are way stricter anyway, they are all approved already. Including neon products that use synthetic dyes. Another reason they’re still not approved here is because some pigments can cause skin staining, but that’s usually only for bright colors. I can promise though as a person with sensitive eyes who owns and uses this palette as well as many other “not safe for eye” powder products, it is safe and has never caused any issues.

Amazing Eyeshadow! 5 stars!!!

Great Wet & Wild eyeshadow! I use this eyeshadow daily I live in high-heat high-humidity of Dubai which is a good test for any makeup. Stays on for hours and does not crease or smudge. Color palette is a versatile earth-tone and highly pigmented with shimmer. Eyeshadow glides on smoothly, has a semi-creamy texture. I have used this palette for over a month and there is no eye irritation. I can't believe the great price-it is comparable to the luxury brands- I will be purchasing their other color palettes, I highly recommend.

Natural looking eyeshadow pallet!

I love how subtle these shadows are. If you don’t want a dark dramatic look this is the way to go. I have blue eyes and am very happy with how they made my eyes pop!

Such A Unique Color-Story. Champagne-Brownish Maroon Mauves-Warm Red Browns.Not many brands have this style.Smudge Resistant. Easy to use. Not sticky at all.Lasts a long time when using eyelid primer & a setting spray.

Great eye makeup

I have purchase this through Amazon at least three times. You can tell from the picture that I use most of the colors. I get tons of compliments on my eye makeup at work. It looks great, the price is good, it does not stick or smudge and lasts a long time.
