Not professional grade but works for me
I knew going in I didn't need anything high speed. I have a couple semi drawf apple trees that I can't get to the upright shoots anymore. I put this on a 10 foot piece of 3/4 inch emt conduit which was manageable as the one inch was kinda heavy and drilled a 1/4 hole through it and put on the provided bolts.Only had to cut maybe 20 shoots that were less than 1/2 inch thick and it worked just fine. Can't speak for the saw or heavier limbs but great for my purpose.

good light duty replacement pruner
Got this to replace my Fiskars pruner head which the cord broke after 15 yrs of use and the saw blade rusted and dulled, so that's my comparison and I have to say that this pruner is made of much lighter gauge steel, both the pruner body and attachment saw blade. The pull cord is also thinner compared to the cord on my old Fiskars pruner, hopefully the cord is this pruner is of better quality to compensate for its less robust thickness. The pruner head easily attached to the old Fiskars pole, and the action of pulley system is smooth. I haven't actually cut any tree limbs yet, so I can't say how easily it will cut though I expect it to be fairly easily with the blade being factory sharp. The attachment saw blade easily attaches to the head and is very sharp with an aggressive tooth pattern but the blade itself is rather thin and I expect it will easily bend. I'll update this review after I've had a chance to put it to the test!

Works fine. Seems well made.
Replaced the broken pruner head on my old pole. Fit perfectly. Trimmed a pine tree with ease. The pruner is sharp and cuts through thick branches with ease. The only issue is the rope which frequently gets caught on the bolts which fasten the head to the pole. Just need to hold the rope out and away from the pole when using the pruner. Happy with the product. Much cheaper than buying a whole new pole trimmer.

First use
The trimmer was easy to attach to the extension pole. Branches easy to cut. Only issue was after one day's use, the cord was completely frayed, hence the 3 stars. I was able to replace with stronger cord pretty easily.

Works Great
I bought this for trimming branches in the yard. It easily cuts branches 3/4" and would probably go larger. I had a sturdy telescoping pole - that I also purchased on Amazon - but the pole had a threaded end. There is an adapter that you can buy on Amazon called "Mr Longarm TV869628 Plas Squeegee Adapter" - about $6.50. This will adapt to the threaded end and is very secure. The pole is the best "Better Boat Telescoping Pole Extendable Pole Deck Brush 3/4" Universal End - about $20.00. All three pieces work perfectly together for a sturdy cutting device even fully extended. I would recommend using a good pair of work gloves when using this extended though. When you pull the rope to cut a branch you will have to wind the rope around your hand to get enough leverage. Without heavy work gloves, the rope will cut into your hand. Just a tip I learned the hard way. Altogether all three pieces are excellent. A good buy.

Blades not inline at all.
You can see in photos that the blades are crossed. The workers in China were not given enough time to adjust the blade. The blade actually were crossed so bad the blade dug into the j hook portion of blade. Bummer

Excellent shears, weak saw
I bought this to replace one that I had simply worn out. The installation was simple and quick, and it cuts very well. The saw attachment, though, has a tendency to come unmoored unless its one connecting wingnut is VERY tight.
