Great camera. Get a quality micro-sdhc card and you will not be disappointed. Get SDSQXNE-032G-GN6MA 32G about $16. This camera will do 1080P 60 FPS with 0% errors at 39MBPS. At 4K 30 FPS is may miss a frame or two but it not bad. It may be the micro-sdhc cards fault. A lesser quality card will only give you 720P at 30 FPS (MB-ME64DA/AM). The remote is a nice feature and works great. Use the button twice to turn on and off a recording after the screen goes blank to save power. Press the button twice to take a picture if the screen is blank. You will need to keep track of the screen sleep time in your head. Just practice with the screen turned towards you. If the screen is on you only need to press the button one time for video or pictures. The power button only turns the camera off. The range of the remote is pretty far. The remote is probably only splash resistant so do not put it in the water. The case is waterproof as advertised. I store mine open as to not compress the gasket. More to come.

So I've used GoPro's, and for $65, this has really good picture quality, and a really long battery life, as long as you just let it run, and keep the lcd screen off. I do recommend it, especially if you're just grabbing b-roll footage or short clips. Especially for the cost.That said, there are a few issues with it. The 30 fps 1080P frame rate is actually more like 30.26. This is awkward if you're trying to edit it with other footage or audio sources - it won't be synced after a while. But this comes out to a little over 2 seconds off in an hour of footage, so unless you're doing long stuff like I am, it won't matter.The other thing is the file size compression is terrible. A GoPro Hero 3 will do about 25 minutes in a 3.9 GB file, this does between 12-17 minutes for the same size. Again, not an issue if you're only doing shorter stuff.The 4K seems a little glitchy, but I don't record with that, so I don't consider it a big deal. The 720p 120 fps works really well though.The last thing that I would consider a slight negative is that when you replace the battery, the date resets to 1/1/2015. Not a huge deal, if you have time to reset it, but if you're just trying to change the battery and start recording again quick, you'll have to live with video files with a different time stamp.I use a Samsung EVO 64GB Micro SDXC memory card with it, and that seems to work fine for mp 1080p 30fps.

Video quality sucks! This is not a 4k camera! Don't waste your money! You can set it to 4k30fps and it is so grainy and dull/lacking color, I played with it changing settings for light and exposure and it doesn't help. The lcd display shows a nice image, but put the card in your computer and my phone with a spray painted lense does a better job. I don't know that I would even buy it for a kid... because for a few bucks more you get 10x the video quality, heck buy a refurbished garmin virb for 60 bucks and you are a million times better!

Ive had it for 2 weeks and I have put this little camera through its paces! So far it really awesome! No issues! It has a lot of solid features. I have used it in very shallow water and no leaking. No deep water use yet! I highly recomend this camera! The 1 bad thing!!! Do not download the firmware update via the qr code on the box. The site it opes is rwd flagged for malware! Other then that, buy this little fella today!

I would give this camera 5 stars IF the wrist remote and wifi app worked together. THEY DON'T! The instructions are vague at best, but after 3 or 4 hours of trying to get it all to work together, I could get it to work with the wifi app or the wrist remote. The wrist remote WILL NOT WORK with wifi turned on. You have to exit wifi mode first before wrist remote will work. if you make the mistake of hitting the red button to stop recording video, the camera will shut off! To stop the video and keep the camera on, you need to click the photo button which stops the video recording. The camera will remain on and you can start another video or take a photo using the wrist remote. This is NOWHERE in the instructions!!! It seems to have good picture quality as advertised, but be ready to be a little frustrated at be setting it all up. I will be doing a Youtube review of this product shortly.

takes a good picture but even with the camera out of the water proof case the sound reproduction is terrible.......

takes great pictures and the 2 inch rear display is wonderful and pretty clear, especially when comparing it to te 1.5 in display of the previous models , very easy to use

Not HD definitely not 4K. I'm a professional video engineer. Both cameras I purchased were returned for low Rez at any settings. It's probably the cheap ccd inside🌧
