I received this fine radio today and I was concern that the sound would be low and not well to hear but I find the opposite the volume is great. Why, I have four stars is improvement design on the plastic handle can easily brake not very strong and I will in the future attach a rope. The second thing is the home power cord plug into the socket in back. It is easy to pull out of the socket from the radio. This radio is just been out only a year or two.2019.

I used it a few times and it has completely stopped working, including the radio! Amazon, you need to pay attention to consumers and discontinue carrying defective merchandise. This isn’t the first item I have purchased that was defective! Those who read this, do not order!! Gave one star for the nice outer appearance of this item. So disappointed. Had another brand that worked for 20 years but no longer exists!!!

I bought this so I could have a CD player. The item itself is pretty (I bought the blue one). The lid is very slow to rise and to close and the system is made of plastic so be very careful. The sound was decent.

I purchased this player primarily for the headphone jack. It seems most players like this lack the means to plug in headphones. My elderly mother has lost almost all her sight through macular degeneration and depends greatly on audio books on CDs to pass the time. The controls are large enough for her to easily feel her way through the functions and the headphone jack gives her privacy. This really answered a lot of problems for her. I would recommend this player for any "technically challenged" elderly person who wants to listen to a CD or just listen to the radio.

I purchased this CD Player through Amazon -- Model: SBXo3oC It arrived a couple of days ago and although it plays, I had trouble figuring out how the CD Player works. The instructions leave a lot to be desired. The sound is awesome!! So I put in the time to figure out what the problem is.UPDATE: For the CD Mode: The Instruction sheet should start with this phrase "With the Power Button 'OFF' and then follow the directions on the piece of paper. OTHERWISE - if the CD Play is 'ON', you will need to cycle through AM, FM, to get to the CD player. AND the CD symbol in the window on the front to the CD Player is NOT "CD" it is two horizontal lines = like this = "-- --". Now that I figured all this out, the CD Player is easy to use.Description of how I first dealt with the instructions and what I did to create a work around for the slightly incomplete instructions.Here is my one remaining question ---The first time I used it I pressed the Function button to get past FM and AM the next time I pressed the function button two disconnected, straight, horizontal lines appeared. Since this symbol was not in the Owner's Instructions, I searched through the instructions to see what I might have missed. While doing this, the number 4 appeared in the "window" (the last track on that CD that was currently in the CD Player) - so I choose #1 and it played the first track of the CD.So is the CD function suppose to have two straight horizontal lines as the symbol for CD?NOTE: The button #10 in the instructions - the symbol was so tiny in the instruction that you sent (in several languages) that I had to get a magnifying glass (10X)to see the symbol. At this level of magnification, the symbol was barely readable. This # 10 button is a VERY IMPORTANT - after playing with the CD Player for about an hour - I discovered that IF I did not stop the CD by pressing and Holding the #10 button until the number in the "window" changed, it did not stop the CD AND the CD player stopped working as described in the directions. I very nearly returned this CD Player because the instructions are incomplete and the printing is way too small.
