My straps were wider than these rubber rubber strips. In order to use them, I had to modify them. I'm still in the restoration process so I have not driven the car and don't know how these will perform over time. I'm leaving 3 starts because of the fitment issues but I cannot be certain whether this is an issue with this anti-squeak kit or the straps (maybe a stack-up of tolerance issue).

The seals intended for the gas tank strap would not fit over them, so I modified them. My gas tank straps are OEM and wider than the seals.
