Good for you, perfect taste.
Yum! And good for you and your teeth. I'm a big believer in this product. It works. Don't eat too much at once, but remember, your body naturally produces small amounts of xylitol, so it knows how to use it. No spikes with diabetics (only 7% absorbs into the blood), and it allow bacteria to feed on it in the mouth, but they die because they cannot metabolize it, so it fights cavities too. Good for cooking almost anything that does NOT use yeast. I uses it in my oatmeal almost every morning. Get the birch tree versions, not the corn ones... Both are okay, but the birch tree xylitol is more natural, and not manufactured. It is truly a sugar (not a sugar alcohol), but doesn't feed bacteria due to a difference in the amount of carbons in the molecule.

Good Alternative Sweetner
Only had this in chewing gum or such before. Now I put it on my cereal in the morning. Tasted right out of the bag and waited - no aftertaste. My major concern. It is also a "pleasant" sweetness - not overpowering like Splenda or stevia.Made a loaf cake from 50% sugar and 50% Xylitol in the event it cause diaharea in my wife. It did not do so.Since I believe it is a by product of the corn industry, it is a natural product. With only 30% of the calories of sugar and no carbohydrates, this is the ticket to lowering sugar content. I made a special jar with it in it. It appears to be a bit on the chunky side so I assumes it absorbs water and so keeping it in a sealed container seems like the smart thing to do.Would I buy again - you bet!

The teeth and the belly love this
I read reviews about this and similar products. In particular I read a really good review about another brand on eBay that talked about the process used to make this stuff. In the end I settled on the Epic brand. Some reviews mentioned a chlorine like smell, but I checked for this when I first opened the bag and there was no smell at all. It tastes just like sugar. Aside from having few calories for the diet conscious it not only does not promote tooth decay, it actually kills the germs that are associated with causing cavities. I had but one gripe, and it was not about the product itself but the package. It comes in what should be a resealable bag with the plastic zip type lock on the top. However, it would not stay closed. So I use a few metal spring clips to seal the bag. Since I like sweetened tea, this is going to be a regular for me, now that I have taken myself off soft drinks.

Delicious!
This tastes exactly like regular sugar, and I drink tea all day, every day. It's also a much better price than most other brands. I move it into smaller containers for the table or to keep elsewhere. It dissolves easily, as well. I recommend it highly.
