I bought these rings as a bundle with a carabiner in the KeyUnity line. Since they all have a sandblasted finish they look great together.The reviews I read before I got mine concerned me about them being no better than the old steel key rings I was replacing. My experience is the negatives didn’t happen, possibly because I read and followed the instructions in the Amazon photos.Pinching: Doesn’t happenSome reviews complain the rings pinch like standard rings. If you follow the directions in the product description here on Amazon and SLIDE the topmost section OUT (NOT UP as with standard rings) this doesn’t happen.Smallest ring: Nearly as easy as largestSome reviews complain that the smallest ring is difficult to open. Its size makes it a bit harder. But again, the design is to push the ring to the side, not up. I was easily able to add a nail clipper and the tiny ring on my TiSpanner.Bent rings: Didn’t happen to meI saw photos in the reviews showing bent and misshapen rings - especially on the smallest one. As my photos show, that didn’t happen to me on all three sizes. They returned to their original positions: nice and flush.Material: TitaniumTitanium is lighter and stronger than steel. This allows them to be thinner than the classic old key rings.Finish: SandblastedWhen buying titanium pocket / everyday carry products this is my preferred finish. It’s common to most titanium items. It doesn’t peel or flake like paint or other coatings. If scratched, it isn’t as noticeable (as if it was polished). In my case it matches the carabiner key ring I bought as part of a bundle.

The rings are definitely strong but the smallest ring was too difficult to open. I needed help in opening the medium size ring.

These are not your average key rings! The sturdy, solid metal construction gives them a premium feel without being heavy. The increased stiffness is a significant improvement over standard rings, keeping keys secure and organized. They also have a nice, clean design. I was so satisfied that I've already purchased two sets to replace all my existing key rings. If you're looking for a durable, stylish, and more functional alternative to traditional key rings, look no further.

The smallest one is basically unusable since it's size makes it really hard to open. The others are ok, but kinda gritchy.

I was excited to try this out as I've always found the variance in quality for common key rings pretty inconvenient. These were marketed as an easier solution and I'm not sure that's true at all. They're stiff and difficult to open, I think I pinched my fingers more on these than a normal keyring. I even went back and watched the videos to make sure it wasn't operator error. Another component that is confusing- the light ridges on the exterior caused items to get stuck and scrape along. I'll likely replace these with a more traditional ring down the line. This may be an example of "if it's not broke, don't fix it". I can't recommend this purchase to anyone.

Works as advertised

These are super lightweight and high quality. However, the claim they are easier to work with than traditional key rings is entirely false. Even following the instructions and opening them to the side, they are very inflexible. I ripped part of my fingernail off and sliced open the skin underneath just trying to get them set up. Regardless, I ordered more.
