If you get this for a bearded dragon, roaches crawl under the folds that are on the bottom and hide there. Terrible design. I have to constantly shake them out of it. Would not recommended.

Honestly, I placed this over the top of a 5" furniture riser, which it adhered to easily, to give my turtle the proper depth of water. The best hack I could have managed. The little ramp lets him get out of the water more easily, too.

This was nice in a lot if ways- size good, hollow underside so more room than you might think on inside but fiirst issue i had was that it does not get warm from basking pights. I liked his smaller one because it did hold heat for quite awhile after i turned off his lights so heat reduction mire gradual. The other thing is that it was pretty goid spot for roaches to hide back where he couodnt reach but not easy for me to get out either! So, it served its purpose while he fit it and during summer it gave him some shade out of heat and didnt hold heat but also disnt keep heat out so it wasnt cool shade either. As for winter use and wanting something to conduct or at least hold some heat? Not so much. He also didnt care to climb on it and as it is plastic and not a stone resin , it was slippery even with the texture so he didnt ever climb on it.

This looked great so ordered and was disappointed that it arrived broken into 3 pieces. However I really wanted it so I ordered it again and .... this time it arrived broken into 2 pieces.

It is described as “adjustable”, but there is no way to adjust the height or anything on it. It may be on me for not understanding what “adjustable” meant for this item, but it’s also not clear what any part of it is adjustable. Hopefully the description for this item is changed.However, it is still useful as a basking spot with the right materials. Such as, for example, I just made a large hill with my rock bedding so the flat part peaked over the surface of the water. But… would not spend $30 on something like this again.

I bought this for my aquatic turtle. The measurments listed in yhe product description are completely off. As u can see from the picture this is no taller than an avg. size shot glass which is about 2inches. #Disappointed
