TV Antenna, HDTV Indoor Antenna 50 Miles Digital Long Range with Amplifier Signal Booster Upgraded Version-10ft Coax Cable

My mom used to have a very decade-old set-top "rabbit ears" antenna, but one of the "ears" broke off a couple of years ago. It was still functional, but it didn't pick up a lot of channels (only about ten or so), and the few channels it did receive either had only audio playing or were too unstable to be viewable. Even the best channel (channel 41) would be grainy and sporadically stop working. She would always complain about the bad quality of the channel and how it always cut off the most important parts of the shows she was watching. Luckily, I came across this beauty at a special discount (since I have Prime), and it's worked like a charm during the month we've had it. Not only does this antenna pick up over double the number of channels that the old antenna did, but all those channels are also of much higher quality (all of them being viewable--no "audio only" channels). Also, despite this product's name, you don't need to have an HDTV (my mom's TV is small, cubic, and ancient) as long as you have a digital converter box. This antenna is also pretty small. The black rectangle seen in the images serves as a base for the adhesive pads, which have stickers you can peel off so the antenna (the thing attached to the black rectangle) can be stuck anywhere. I stuck it as high as possible to my mom's bedroom window beside the TV. Despite the fact that my mother and I live in the basement of an apartment, and her room is relatively small and secluded, the antenna has surprisingly good reception.

This antenna works OK, but it is not really omnidirectional. Some stations within 50 miles may not come in if it is not turned in the right direction. If your local TV transmission towers are located about 90 degrees apart (as are mine) then you may have to adjust the antenna when you change channels. The plug-in signal booster definitely helps though.

This is NOT at all worth even the lightning deal price of 15 bucks! I took a piece of wire and touched the back of my TV and got 5 more channels than this POS! The amplifier is such a joke! It did nothing at all! I wish this did work I really do but there is no way it deserves any stars at all!Also an FYI.....There is at least six peddlers of this garbage selling the same thing under different names.....Hilarious!

As advertised. If I could do it all over again I would recommend getting one with a cord longer than 10 feet so you have more options on where to mount it (ie getting closer to a window). We get all the local channels for free, but every time a large vehicle drives by the signal is interrupted for a couple of seconds. Gets annoying as we live on a busy street.

So happy with this product! Easy to install, and, once installed BOOM! 21 channels!!! Price is right and sure beats cable price! Just installed it today so will change this review if there are any problems but I don't think so. No moving parts so what can go wrong!I said "Easy to install" only complicated by a 3 month old very curious kitten and dangling wires! So it took me 15 minutes instead of 5! Clearly this is cat approved!

Does not work near as well as the last one I bought. I tested them side by side. This one has poor reception and is much smaller than the last one I bought.

This item does seem to improve reception. I would like to see some sort of hanger on the antenna so that it can be hung on a wall or in a window. I feel it is an OK buy for the price.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Previously purchased a 1byone 50 Miles Amplified HDTV antenna, but this one was in the Prime Day sale. It was a TOTAL waste of my money. No matter what I try, this thing will not work. The 1byone product took minimal work to setup and worked the first time, bringing in 48 channels. I cannot get this product to bring in one single channel. Of course the return period has passed, so that's just great.
