Works well. Bolts made of butter
Hotend works well very happy only concerned that if I need to change the heater block in the future I won't be able to. The bolt heads just fell apart when I tried to loosen them with the correct Allen key

Excellent plug and play product
The media could not be loaded. Put it on to the printer with little effort, plugged in the cables, calibrated and off it went. Don't buy the cheapest one, get one that works. No instructions in the box but there are plenty of videos on YouTube if you need help fitting it. I recommend this product.

Dodgy equipment
Hot ends like this do wear out over time, that's just one of the acceptable problems with FDM printers. The time they last is governed by the manufacturing process and materials used. Up until this year I have had no trouble with CReality products or spares. My CR6SE has been running almost daily since I purchased it three years ago, and it has been an absolute trooper. Constant and reliable quality, little variation in prints, no issues with feed or heating. I still have the original glass plate on the machine, and most people I know have had to replace theirs by now.Until this year. The last hot end I used was purchased last year and while I don't know what went wrong with it, it started leaking and finally gave up on life this year. I have since bought five of these units. Each one of these has failed. Either they leak horribly with gloopy brown smelly muck all over the alloy block at the bottom of the hot end. Two of these units rammed in the feed tube, a problem that appears to be common in various countries, this is caused by heat creeping up the feed tube and pre-melting the pla, which then cools and locks in on the ptfe tube, jamming the feed.I am completely at my wit's end over this. For the last three years the printer and parts have always been reliable and well made. I am no longer so certain of this.I also replaced the extruder unit for my printer as it was showing signs of wear. The first extruder I used didn't work at all, something in the way the unit was made caused a failure on the cog to engage the pla and it didn't feed. The second one thank fully is working fine. The hassle I have had over the last couple of months with poor quality replacement parts is making me seriously think about throwing the printer away and buying a new one - from a different manufacturer.I do not know what has happened with CReality, but they have gone from a reliable company with good quality printers and parts to a hot mess with poor quality parts and printers that fail out of the box. I am a member of a very busy forum where FDM printers are used by a large number of people and the problems and complaints with CReality printers and parts is increasing. I hope they look at their manufacturing process and address the issues they have introduced. It would be sad indeed to think a once reliable company was destined to fail due to useless quality control, poor manufacturing and unreliable printers. For the moment I will keep my printer and continue to use it, but I am now actively looking for a replacement. Sorry to say, it will not be a CReality.

Not compatible with cr6 max eventhough same size
This is ment to fit the cr6 se and cr6 max but it doesn't fit the max , nor is this a complete metal hotend the bowden tube still sits inside the heater block so not sure how this is a upgrade, maybe because it's anodised red ? Disappointed to say the least 😕

So easy to fit
Let's be real, the tiny screws that Creality use to secure the hot end are terrible, I broke one of mine when I first got the printer about 2 years ago. The other broke a few days ago so I ordered this. So easy to fit and a genuine replacement. Printing like a dream again.
