A must for any graveyard!
Safe for use on most types of stones and is a fantastic product! The combo makes it easy to have the products you need on hand. I used this on sandstone headstones with lichen/moss issues with wonderful results. Always be sure what type of stone you are working with and its condition BEFORE cleaning it!Since I was dealing with lichen/moss, I had water and soft bristle brushes with me. I wet the stone first and "scrubbed" with the brushes to get a majority of the heavy off and then sprayed the D2 on and let it set for about 10 minutes. Then I wet the stone again and used my bigger brush and scrubbed again and the product suds up and I rinsed it off. I also recommend the OXO small brushes for grout and tile cleaning in conjuction with this item for cleaning the inscription if needed. They are soft bristled and brushes angled perfectly.A lot of D2 is not needed, I used less than half a quart on 3 large stones.First photo is before, 2nd scrubbing, 3rd finished same day, 4th 3 days later. The large stone in the rear on the 4th was done too and heavily coveted in lichen/moss.

GREAT PRODUCT TO RESTORE GRAVE STONES
After viewing the Good Cemeterian on 60 minutes, regarding restoring grave stones, I messaged this individual on Facebook to find out what he used. This is why I ordered this solution. Despite it being a bit expensive, I ordered it with the intent of restoring my father and uncles's grave stones at the veterans cemetery in which they are in turned. I used it and was dumb founded and VERY PLEASED with the results. Please note that to restore three veteran grave stones, it only took the spray bottle.

Required Product by Cemetery
Riverside Memorial Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida requires this product for cleaning headstones. Clorox and other bleaches are not allowed. It has taken several subsequent treatments but the product works by restricting mold/fungus in the hot and humid Florida weather. I have sprayed this on many headstones and will be observing how well it lasts over time and on many different types of stones.

Does a very nice job cleaning the old stones.
Using in a old cemetery....works great!!! Stones are as far back as the Revolutionary War...we were able to clean more than 50 stones with this shipment...will order more

The Best Product
I've used D2 for years as a funeral director on cemetery properties. It isn't inexpensive but works miracles on historic markers with decades of filth.

Highly recommended
Recommended as one of a few products to safely clean headstones without doing damage to the stone itself. It works great. I very much appreciate the combined package of the gallon and the full spray bottle.

Excellent headstone cleaner.
We have used this solution on several headstones. Some stones could not be read when we started. It does take some scrubbing to get it to work quickly but you will see the black stains melt away. Bring some water to rinse off stone. On badly stained stones it will require more than one trip. After a year the stones we did still look great.
