Latch doesn’t shut
Wires starting coming apart, latch to battery compartment doesn’t stay shut and opens at the slightest touch, switch locked up. Still electrically works, but falls apart constantly.

One of the two items was defective. The on off slide switch was stuck on off position. I was able to take it apart and repair the switch. I can only assume no one tried the switch for quality control.
