Very convenient
A bit pricy but much more convenient than charging in camera. Love being able to charge two batteries at the same time.

Not sure why all the bad reviews for literally what it says is JUST the charger
So this is a pricy charger, but that is the premium for OEM. I would highly using the OEM for the OEM batteries as for the added safety there is using them. There is a reason why these have 4 pins rather than the 2 pins that the third party chargers use. Can you use a third party to charge? Yes. Should you? Probably not, it'll charge it, but who knows how efficiently as they are missing the pins that monitor the batteries' safety checks through those added pins. I really like that this is a double bay charger so I can charge the free battery that came with the launch promotion of the OM-1. Yes, they didn't include a cable, but there was a cable with your OM-1 already that you can use and you probably won't be using to charge in body anymore anyways after getting one of these. It works well, solidly built, love the USB-C, love the indicators. Well worth it for the piece of mind that comes with it.

Charger, but no battery as per om1 system's claim you get a charger AND battery if you preorder
I got the alexa beep today saying my new camera and battery was here, only to find out that all I got was the charger. No camera and no battery. You're supposed to get the bonus charger AND battery if you pre-order, as I did. The cardboard box was labeled hazmat lithium inside, but there was no battery - just the charger! If olympus [aka the company formerly known as olympus] does NOT make good on their offer, I'm sending the whole lot back to amazon and buying the GH-6 instead. They have 30 days to fix this. Tic Toc my friends at OM if you read your customer reviews. I'll edit this should the battery arrive.

It works great
If you are going to spend the money on the camera, spend the money on the charger and save the wear and tare on your camera. This one works great and although it is a little pricey, and you’d think it came with a cord, but it is what it is.

Works but too expensive
Too expensive. Don’t need a double charger.

Battery plus extended warranty, not battery and charger was part of the preorder from OMDS
I’m not quite sure what the buyers here are complaining about because OMDS never offered a battery plus charger in the pre-order process. They offered an extra battery and three year extended warranty. If you think you were supposed to get a battery and a charger that must have been an Amazon offer and not from the company.

Original OEM but at a discount
This OEM Olympus battery charger is now available as a separate purchase and normally is very expensive but I was able to get for a great price and it will charge 2 batteries without having to charge the batteries in the camera.

large, expensive and lacking
Like others I received this in lieu of a battery on my purchase of the OM-1. OM Systems says that the battery is still to be provided by the retailer. We will see. Nonetheless I have several concerns. First this thing is pretty large, at least for my Lowe Pro sling bag where real estate is precious. I am also concerned about the charging pins possibly being bent or miss aligned when I pull it out of or store it in the camera bag. Second it is ridiculously expensive for what it is. It is especially so if you consider that a charging cord is not even provided. Granted there is a charging cord that comes with the camera but why not provide one. Like others have said, it is nickle and diming. The charger for my Lumix GX9 is a tiny little thing and charges two batteries. It is less than half the size of the OM charger. And where are the batteries?!?! The camera is quite nice despite the slow roll out (my first OM/Olympus camera) but I need an extra battery for an upcoming Rome trip and none is to be found.
