I don't know the exact amount of inches. But I'm 5'3 and it goes past my bottom. As shown in pictures. I definitely don't regret my purchase. Super cute and comfy.

Hello! Not at all a jacket or robe. It's about waist length on me, I am 5'7" tall. You wear it more to dress up an outfit. In my case, I will use them over solid color dresses, especially sleeveless. A lot of women wear them just over cami's, with jeans or slacks. Bottom line, though, it's really however you feel you can enjoy it the most. I love them.Best wishes!
