I am so upset that I spent money on this useless product. I thought my problem was solved, but I'm beginning to believe some of the feedback was fabricated. I placed these out as directed as soon as they were received. The odor was strong and offensive, but apparently not to the deer. They came in the next day and every day after that demolishing my raised bed gardens. This product had absolutely no effect on them. It did not deter rabbits either. I almost feel like it attracted them even more. I want my money back.

We out these around the house because neighbors were having problems and we have woods in the back of our house. This year knock on wood no snakes.

First off they are like other mothballs type smell for rodents, and seem to work well, but they don't last for 90 days. Cut that in half to be accurate. If I found them inexpensive I'd get them again. Perhaps look into the squirrel repellent in comparison of costs. It's about the smell only.

I'm not sure if it was the product or not, but after I put these up, I did not have any more snakes around my home. I had a 3 ft king snake crawling across my front porch and said "Absolutely Not!" I also had a black racer chase me across the yard. Now, I know snakes are good to have around but I don't want them in my garage, basement, or sneaking around my home. I have dogs that I let out and do not want them surprising each other and someone getting bit. They have a faint smell, but it is not overwhelming, not nearly as strong as mothballs. It comes with little bags so you can hang them balls, or just throw them on the ground. It also comes with gloves so you aren't touching all the chemicals. Anyway, after putting these out I have not run across any snakes. I understand there could be many reasons for this, but I'm giving it to balls! Timeline of events: Snakes...put out balls...no snakes. Just saying.

I just used this product .... not sure if it will work on the moles or not but shout out to the packaging and it even included multiple packs of gloves for handling the items. Very strong odor to the balls that have to be planted into a small hole. There are packets of disposable gloves inside (many packets). Each packet contains 2 disposable gloves. Well done. I am hoping this product works since nothing else has so far.

I hung several around our flower garden and put several on the ground. The deer ignored them and pushed a few aside while totally denuding our plants of blooms. The smell is not too bad-- probably why the deer have ignored them. Use a spray instead.
