The pictures show a shallow pan.
I just received the 8” pan with lid and have not used it yet. I gave this 3 stars only because the description fails to mention that this is a deep pan, 3”, not like a normal skillet which is 1.5-1.75” deep. All of the pictures would make you believe this 8” skillet is shallower. Nothing in the description mentions the depth of the pan either.I’ll add to the review once I have some experience using the pan.

Amazing Pan
I bought these mostly to cook medium eggs. I constantly would tear them in my old nonstick. I read about these and decided to give them a try. There ability to resist food sticking to them is almost uncanny. I once cleaned day-old hardened cheese bits from a bunch of grilled cheese sandwiches with a single swipe of a washcloth. It's crazy. Heat distribution is also amazing. Simmering sauces in these is great because the heat is very evenly distributed. Sautéing is a bit hard because fond simply will not build up, but for braises it works great. They are all great.

good - not amazing
I searched for "most non-stick pan" and this was the first result. I agreed to pay $60 for two pans (8" + 10") in the hopes that I'd get what I'm paying for - the most non-stick pan so making eggs is not a chore. It's fine, but it's not even as good as some $20-30 pans I've had. I think the best one I've experienced (when new) was this:https://amazon.com/dp/B077GBKW15/Of course, the non-stick-ness didn't last. They never do. Hope someone solves this problem someday.PS - This isn't a complaint about this pan specifically, because most pans have this problem, but I don't get why they put those two nubs on the inside instead of welding on the handle in such a away as to leave the interior completely smooth. It's obviously possible, there are examples.

These are some of the best skillets I've ever used.
I worked as a cook in restaurants for several years and I now understand why Americas test kitchen rated the 12" as their number one recommended skillet. They heat evenly and are truly nonstick and seem very durable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good non stick skillet.

!
These pans sit flat on our glass stove, handle feels perfect without getting hot, does beautiful job of even cooking. But OXO, please make a glass/clear lid that has a vent hole and will go in the oven to fit your pans as there is there is obviously a market! I bought the 8 and 10 inch sizes. Have started cold start cooking and these pans measure up. My stove is old, but cooked sausage patties as directed on package and the timing was spot on. Very easy to clean! Have emphasized to my dish washer (yes, he does the dishes!) not to use Pam and clean gently. I did find a lid for my 8" that is perfect for this pan from Amazon.
